Stupenda chiesa della diocesi di Vicenza

L'ho visitato solo esternamente in notturna con il drone

È il luogo di culto che frequento anche come volontaria. Ha un fascino particolare, pregno di storia, a partire dal crocefisso che si trova dietro l'altare. Talvolta si organizzano tour guidati per conoscere ancje gli angoli più nascosti

Ci sono stata in occasione della Santa Cresima di mia nipote. Il Duomo era pieno di persone e non sono riuscita a visitarlo, mi riprometto di andare a visitarlo la prossima volta

Il duomo è un luogo bellimo x meditare x le tue preghiere un luogo ben controllato x il distanziamento covi tutto ?

Consiglio la visita della chiesa e della torre medievale

Decisamente maestoso e ben tenuto! La cittadina di Lonigo è veramente un gioiellino! Questo Duomo merita proprio di essere visitato! È nel centro del paese, a due passi da qualche sentiero carino verso i colli, se siete nella zona dovete assolutamente vederlo!

The first place,of this city, which deserves from the tourist,great attention is without any doubt,the Cathedral.This building of worship, is the parish church,dedicated to the Most Redeemer, built between 1877 and 1895 Its architectural style is neo-Romanesque. It was built in place of the church of SAN Marco and the convert of Poor Clare’s.The plan of the church is a Latin cross. The project is by the architect Giacomo Franco,while as director of works was Antonio Tiffani assassinated in the yard and immediately replaced by the son,then only seventeen.It was consecrated the facade of the church is built in tufa stone and its bricks in champo stone.This facade is very similar to that of the church, dedicated to San Zeno in Verona. The central portal,has a mosaic on the bezel,designed by the painter Cacciari and made by Venetian mosaicists in style Bizantine-Venetian. At this point,of my review,there would be much more to add;but I leave it to the single tourist to discover and appreciate that is found not only outside,but above all inside it.
