Grazie, Dott. Marzo! I had an urgent problem while on vacation in Florence, and the doctor went out of his way to get me a same-day appointment. He was very kind and helped me out tremendously. He also speaks excellent English.

Unexpected Generosity. I am on a three month holiday in Europe. Three weeks into my trip I was visiting Florence. During breakfast on a Sunday morning a 15-year-old dental implant fell out. I was shocked and my first thought was that I was going to have to cancel my trip and head back to the United States to get this taken care of. My heart sank with disappointment. It was a Sunday and it was the summer holiday season and so many of the locals were away traveling. I had the thought to contact my Airbnb host to see if he could suggest a dentist to me. He called back in a little while and said that he found a dentist that would see me at 4 PM. I was going to be traveling away later that day for an event that I paid a few hundred euros for. I called him and he said to come as soon as I could. I took a taxi to his location. Imagine my surprise that I could walk into a dentists office on a Sunday around lunchtime and find such a warm and welcoming gentleman and professional. After a few minutes wait Dr. Gennardo Di Marzo invited me into one of the exam rooms. The office was sparkling clean and bright. After a brief interview he assured me that he could take care of my implant with no problem. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I had a wonderful conversation with Dr. Di Marzo during my visit. Is low-key professional manner and warmth set me at ease. When I ask him how much I old him I couldn’t believe how little he requested. I offered him double the amount and he refused to take it. I am so appreciative to Dr. Di Marzo for accommodating me on a Sunday during the holiday season. He turned a potential disaster into joyful relief. I have always loved Florence as one of my favorite cities in the world to visit. Now there is another reason why it is a favorite. Thank you, Dr. Di Marzo. I would highly recommend him to you whether you are a local or traveling. You won’t be disappointed.

We cannot recommend Dr. Di Marzo’s practice enough. My husband and I are on vacation in Florence when he began experiencing excruciating tooth pain as a result of an abscess. Dr. Di Marzo was responsive via WhatsApp as soon as the practice opened at 8AM. He saw my husband 45 minutes later and managed to identify the issue and alleviate the pain instantly. Dr. Di Marzo went above and beyond accommodating our second visit to finalize the procedure (he stayed late due to our busy day planned with tours). We felt welcomed and taken care of by an exceptional professional. Thank you so much Dr. Di Marzo for helping very confused and frazzled American tourists during an emergency. All staff speak excellent English and are very welcoming. The prices for treatment are reasonable and they accept credit card which is great when you experience unexpected expenses on vacation. If we lived in Florence, Dr. Di Marzo would be our regular dentist! Our Airbnb hosts will add his practice to their list of emergency contacts if something similar happens to future guests.

Dr Gennaro is an highly skilled dentist. Kind, nice and professional. He approaches even the most complicated patients in a calm manner, and always looking what is in the best interest of patient. Always available, respond quickly and can listen. I believe he is the best dentist I ever visited so far . I can highly recommend him and I’ll give him 10* ! Cheers Silvija Jarnjak

Highly professional office. Everyone is kind and respectful and tends to your needs. Never have I had a cavity fixed so quickly and painlessly. I also had an emergency root canal treatment and Dr Gennaro was kind enough to come in on his day off. This office will take good care of you :)

Dr Gennaro is an excellent dentist. We recently moved to Florence from London, UK and have been very happy with our many visits for various necessary dental procedures. The dental hygienist is also excellent. It is a very clean and professional dental office with excellent service and quality of care. Everyone who works there is very polite and helpful, and if you ever have a dental emergency, they are most accommodating, even on weekends.

Very professional and at the same time relaxing environment, highly skilled doctor and soft music made the root canal operation to pass almost unnoticeable. I would definitely recommend Dottore Gennaro to everybody who would be lucky to be in beautiful Firenze but unlucky to have dental problem.
