Io soffrivo di attacchi di panico da 10 anni prima di cominciare la terapia con lui e, in neanche 4 mesi ho ricominciato a fare cose che quasi non credevo avrei mai più rifatto. Lo so che la psicoterapia in Italia è vista spesso con sospetto (io stesso ero un po' titubante), ma non posso far altro che ringraziare il dott. Pacetti. Ricordo che la prima richiesta d'aiuto la mandai tramite mail alle 1.00 a.m. alle 07.00 a.m ricevetti la sua risposta. Già da lì, riuscìi a trasmettermi subito, sia per il contenuto della risposta che per la sua disponibilità, una sensazione di sicurezza. Alla prima seduta, mi disse che questo percorso l'avremmo fatto insieme, coprendo ovviamente ruoli diversi. Lui avrebbe acceso le "luci" dei vari sentieri da percorrere; a me stava scegliere dove andare. Nel corso delle sedute si è via via instaurato un rapporto di grande stima (di basilare importanza nella riuscita di un percorso psicologico) e di conseguente fiducia, che man mano è diventata sempre più profonda. La cosa più importate che ho imparato da questa esperienza è che tutto quello che ci è accaduto, o che ci accade, può essere governato, anticipato, rifiutato e persino capovolto e controllato dalla nostra mente. Anche quando certe situazioni non si possono cambiare o cancellare, possiamo comunque decidere come reagire. Ho imparato cosa volesse dire volersi bene, come gestire le mie emozioni, le mie sensazioni e i miei impulsi. Il Dott. Pacetti è stato un professionista competente, un ottimo ascoltatore, un interessante interlocutore e col tempo uno stimatissimo consigliere. Al tempo il Dott. Pacetti mi venne consigliato da un amico, e oggi non potrei che fare la stessa cosa. I met Dr. Pacetti in the middle of a somewhat critical period of my life. In un momento nel quale già l'ansia si faceva sentire e il maledetto COVID-19 nei paraggi, è riuscito in maniera telematica a trovare la soluzione giusta per me. C'è voluto tempo come in tutte le cose ma i metodi usati han permesso la guarigione. Inoltre una cosa importante da dire è la disponibilità mostratami, in quanto a svariate ore del giorno riusciva a rispondermi per ogni mio problema.
