★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho soggiornato qui da sabato 14/4 a ieri mattina 16/4 con mia moglie e devo dire che ci siamo trovati bene. Ho chiesto a Dino se potevo anticipare il check-in e sono stato accontentato. La Sig.ra che ci ha accolto è stata molto cortese. La camera è pulita, così come il bagno e la zona è tranquillissima, lontana dalle enormi folle di turisti. L'unico difetto è che la camera che ci è stata data era veramente molto buia ma questo non è imputabile a Dino ma all'architettura di quasi tuta Venezia.
 I stayed here from Saturday 14/4 to yesterday morning 16/4 with my wife and I must say that we enjoyed it. I asked Dino if I could anticipate check-in and was satisfied. Mrs. who welcomed us was very courteous. The room is clean, as is the bathroom and the area is very quiet, away from the huge crowds of tourists. The only flaw is that the room we were given was really very dark but this is not attributable to Dino but to the architecture of almost all of Venice.

Do not book here unless you are 100% certain you will be staying The owners will not refund you fully even if you have booked 7 months in advance and have a genuine reason for cancelling. We were even told by the owners that they would charge us for cleaning if we mailed them again to ask for a full refund
The owners behaviour towards us was quite awful considering my partner is disabled and we had a genuine reason for cancelling

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for 2 nights in early May 2016. Good communication with the owner and arrangements made for us arriving late at night. The location is handy for the cruise terminal and is fairly close to Piazzale Roma where the buses from the airport drop off. It's a short walk to the main tourist areas and we definitely preferred the more local feel of the quiet neighbourhood. Rooms are all within a single apartment but have their own bathrooms, ours was very well furnished and the bathroom was very nice. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities, although we didn't use it during our stay as we were only there for 2 nights. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
