Domus Roma Trionfale Case vacanze

La nostra esperienza è stata più che positiva, premesso che ci trovavamo a Roma non per vacanza ma per problemi di salute di mio figlio e la casa si trova a 2 minuti dall’ospedale San Filippo Neri. I proprietari Maria e Tommaso bravissime persone, gentilissime e premurose ci hanno accolto nella loro casa vacanza facendoci sentire in un ambiente familiare. Location perfetta, vuoi mettere rientrare la sera e parcheggiare senza girare per ore per trovare un parcheggio perchè la macchina sta all’interno della proprietà al sicuro e senza spendere 1 euro. Per noi amanti della natura è stata una piacevole sorpresa scoprire che vicino alla casa c’è la possibilità di stare a contato con animali e in particolar modo con due bellissimi cavalli (a cui mio figlio di 1 anno piaceva portare da mangiare la mattina e la sera) adiacenti a la riserva del sughereto. Se devo dare un voto darei il massimo, sicuramente la prossima volta di un viaggio a Roma che sia per piacere, per lavoro o per altro già so dove alloggiare!!!

I wanted to find a reasonably priced place to live in Rome for a week or 2 which would be my base as I explored Rome & the surrounding towns. Domus Roma Trionfale met all of my needs. I booked one of the 3 apartments, located next to the family's 100 year old home. The property is located next to a large nature reserve. It is country-like with vegetable gardens, fruit & nut trees, chickens, horses, a wonderful outdoor dining area plus a parking spot for cars. It is a 25 minute drive to Rome's International Airport. Each of the recently built apartments has a large bedroom, a spacious living area with a sofa bed & and a compact kitchen, easily accommodating up to 4 people plus a crib if required. The floors are made of marble, stone & mosaic while the kitchen highlights "azulejos" hand-painted tiles. The upstairs balconies have great views. I recommended Domus to a friend of mine & he, his wife & 2 teenage sons stayed for 3 days. They particularly appreciated the fact that a continental breakfast was included in the price & there was a fridge to keep milk, sandwich making etc. cold! Tomas & Rosario are very gracious hosts speaking Italian, English & Spanish. If you wish to have an authentic Italian meal with fresh produce straight from their gardens, you can order a welcome dinner or a dinner in the garden. These meals were highlights of my visit!! Tomas will advise you as to the easiest way to get to downtown Rome, sights you must see etc. ps. In each apartment there is a TV, air conditioning, & WiFi plus plenty of hot water for everyone to have their shower!

Came here with my family and we had an amazing time. The owners gave us the best recommendations for amazing restaurants and places to see. The suites are extremely comfortable with lots of cool touches. Already recommended to my friends who are going to Rome later this year.

This was our family's second visit to Domus Roma Trionfale and it was just as amazing as the first time. The suites are spotless, beautifully decorated and very spacious and comfortable. We had a bedroom with king bed and our 2 little ones shared the pull out bed in the living room....perfect! The location is wonderful! The suites are in a very lovely neighbourhood, with a grocery store, pharmacy and some delicious restaurants and gelaterias within walking distance. The train station is about a 10 minute walk and from there we were easily able to get to the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum etc. We were always very happy to come back to the peace and quiet at Domus Roma Trionfale after busy days exploring the city. Maria is the loveliest host and went above and beyond to welcome us back and make it an unforgettable visit for our family. My first stay in Italy was a quick 2-day stopover in Rome and although it was a short visit, I definitely experienced the very best that Italy has to offer at this beautiful Bed & Breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect, nestled on a hilltop with sprawling views of a protected forest reserve, and only a quick trip into the centre of the city. This was the perfect combination for me as I wanted to experience the feeling of the traditional Italian countryside, but also looked for the convenience of a speedy commute to all of Rome’s sights. Amazing service! The owners are lovely and went above and beyond to make me feel like a very special guest. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful, with modern design and hand-crafted touches. The views of the Rome’s hillside from the apartment were breathtaking. As for the food, I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a meal so much as the incredible feast I tried there. I am so lucky to have found this little gem. I am already planning my next visit with my family, and we will definitely stay longer than 2 days!
