Over the Winter Holiday, we went to Ortisei for a ski break. Unfortunately my wife fell on her second run down the mountain and tore both her Meniscus and ACL. All of the staff were amazing. From the time she fell to the time she was out of surgery, was less than 10 hrs, incredible! She never wanted for anything in her time at the clinic. If you have insurance, you will not be dissapointed with Dolomiti Sport Clinics!

Twisted my knee with snowboarding. They made several (expensive) photos and the 'specialist' (Gert Kamjunke) gave me a terrible prognoses for my knee, which had to be operated on immediately or I would have problems using my knee in the future. I went back to Holland without surgery and the specialist there saw nothing on the photos and concluded I would be fine in a few weeks. I've had several specialists take a look at the photos and they all concluded all was fine. The bill was more than 1000 euro for 2 photos and a MRI and I am glad I didn't do the unnecessary surgery. It's a company that's after your money and don't care about your health, disgusting!

I had a serious fall back in June and was hospitalized in another city almost immediately afterwards. My radial head was shattered along with various small breaks in my forearm. The first surgery did not benefit my healing and recovery, and post-op I actually had additional muscle damage in my arm. I was devastated and in serious pain. I sought a second opinion immediately following my follow up appointment for the first surgery. DSC came highly recommended and clearly articulated their recovery and surgical plan to me, admitted me within a day, talked to my insurance directly, and moreover FIXED MY ARM. As a 28 year old in good health, I was scared my arm would never be the same. Now, less than a week post-op, physically and psychologically I am on the path to normality and in less pain than 6 weeks post-op my first operation. THANK YOU! If you want to fix your injury- go here!

The best doctors ever! They saved my arm after a very serious elbow fracture I experienced while skiing. Another hospital resufed to perform the arthroscopy due to the seriuosness of the fracture. Luckily the Dolomiti Sports Clinic did it so well that after a week I was able to move my arm and hand, ane after two months my arm regained almost its full mobility. I’d like to emphasise that fact that my fracture was tremendously complicated. I am extremely grateful to the surgeons, but also to the whole Staff of the Clinic who took care of me during my stay there.

My daughter recently had elbow and forearm surgery at the Dolomiti Sport Clinic. I had traveled from the USA to assist my daughter as she prepared for more surgery and I was filled with anxiety. Shortly after arriving at DSC, my anxiety began to subside in the professional, serene environment there. The receptionists and bookkeepers were all polite and helpful. The doctors who were involved were knowledgeable and quite patient with our many questions. The wonderful nurses were accommodating, prompt, and fast-acting, seeing to my daughter’s needs and comfort. The physical therapist (Dr. Ivan) was gentle and thorough as he worked with my daughter, post-surgery. The anesthesiologist, whose name escapes me, came by multiple times to check on my daughter’s pain-level. He was attentive and kind in his efforts to ease my daughter’s pain, which meant a great deal to me. To be in a faraway country and witness these professionals administer such strong medical care coupled with compassion gave me comfort and eased this mom's anxiety. I saw my daughter was going to finally begin her long-awaited, healing process. This Clinic is indeed a special place. I urge you to give them a try with any orthopedic need you may have. And again, DSC... many thanks for your remarkable efforts with my daughter. I send my very best wishes.

I ruptured my ACL, MCL, tore both menisci and fractured my tibial plateau of my right knee while skiing. It was repaired within 24 hours. My Doctor back home is very impressed with the outcome of the surgery. The reception staff, casualty nurses, MRI staff, ward nurses, night staff and Doctors were all so professional, caring and friendly. Even though I was there under bad circumstances I actually enjoyed the whole experience [not that I'd want to repeat it :-) ]. Well done to everyone at Dolomiti Sportclinic. You guys are the best. Andrew Sandler This story continued - it turns out what seemed like a good outcome and a happy experience didn't end so well. After 8 months and still battling to return to normal activity like walking without a limp and severe pain when bending my knee, an MRI was done. The radiologist reported that the repair of my ACL failed as apparently the incorrect surgery was done for my age and severity of damage. They repaired it by stitching it together when the correct procedure was a reconstruction using my hamstring tendon. I had the correct operation in Durban, South Africa and now 2 months along and it feels amazing. To sum up - very friendly people but delivered the incorrect surgery. Reply 24 May - thank you for your explanation. I can assure you that my rehab was carried out correctly and with the utmost adherence to the recognised protocols for that type of repair. I do not suffer from a metabolic disorder as suggested. I am now almost 7 months post op since my 2nd surgery done in South Africa. I have full painfree function of my knee now and am looking forward to returning to surfing and other sports in November as my surgeon in South Africa wants me to wait for a full year before doing so.
