Incastonate in esse ci sono due bellezze di comunità divise da una vallata..Castelmezzano e Pietrapertosa. Paesini popolati da pochissime centinaia di persone durante l'inverno ma si animano a dismisura durante l'estate grazie ad una attrattiva ..il volo dell'angelo. Paesini scavati praticamente nella roccia..ti capita di camminare in vicoletti stretti stretti e vedere su di te cadere a strapiombo pura roccia . Incantevoli i due paesi...due presepi..entrambi con stesse caratteristiche . Pieni entrambe di b&b e locali dove poter assaggiare i piatti tipici lucani...non manca nulla. Le strade per raggiungere i Paesini unica pecca...strade strette e in pendenza. Ci sono andata per provare l'emozione del volo e sono rimasta incantata dalla bellezza paesaggistica e godere di questa bellezza appesa ad un cavo d'acciaio che corre a 120km/ora e ad una altezza che è meglio non ricordare...fidatevi..è stata una meravigliosa esperienza. The two towns are enchanting ... two nativity scenes ... both with the same characteristics. Both full of b & b and clubs where you can taste typical Lucanian dishes ... nothing is missing. The roads to reach the villages only flaw ... narrow and sloping roads. I went there to experience the thrill of flying and I was enchanted by the scenic beauty and enjoying this beauty hanging from a steel cable that runs at 120km / hour and at a height that is better not to remember ... trust me .. it was a wonderful experience.

Un contesto posto a pochi kilometri dalla superstrada Basentana, con una vegetazione lussureggiante, aree poco antropizzate a tratti selvaggie. Bellissimi percorsi, ferrate e ponti tibetani per escursioni mozzafiato. Per chiudere l'ebrezza del vuoto in sicurezza con il volo dell'angelo. Il parco merita un soggiorno di almeno tre giorni includendo una puntata a monte Croccia la Stonehenge Lucana.
