Quando entro ho la sensazione di diventare parte di un quadro multicolore che sprizza gioia e felicità. L'ambiente vendita è "arredato" da vassoi di dolci di mandorle di ogni forma, colore e gusto. Ogni dolcetto ha sapori complessi e... a lento rilascio, prolungando di molto il piacere delle papille gustative. La Faldacchea è il dolce "regina" non a caso, perché fatto di pasta reale (pasta di mandorle cruda), con un cuore di amarena e un velo di liquore. Da tempi lontani é il dolce delle spose e di tutti gli eventi felici... Le sorelle Verna sono delle raffinate artiste, perché associano a sapori deliziosi un amore per la bellezza raro, creando dei dolci che, uniti insieme con arte e confezionati con nastri di raso, sembrano dei meravigliosi mazzi di fiori. Ricordo ancora quando il punto vendita era nel centro storico, in un "sottano". Quando si accendevano le luci, sembrava di entrare nel paese delle meraviglie, circondati da scaffali a muro coperti di dolci e colori. Io non amo l'amarena e nemmeno la pasta di mandorle o le cose troppo dolci in generale, qui però ho potuto mangiare anche più di un dolcino senza restarne disgustato, davvero consigliato Pastry recommended by a gentleman from Conversano, here it is possible to taste the sweet Turese type: the faldacchea.
