Peccato ci avessero messo all'ingrasso con tante portate :) ! Right choice! Very special New Year! Fresh fish and very special combinations! Outstanding salmon! Too bad they had put them to fattening with many courses :)!

I camerieri molto gentili ci hanno servito la cena di Ferragosto. Gli antipasti polpo e i gamberi con il tortino di patate con poco sapore. Il primo buono mezzi paccheri al sugo di astice, piatto non adatto. Secondo orata al vapore buona il resto senza sapore. Per finire la mouse al limone che non avrei proposto in una cena di Ferragosto. Avevamo aspettative più alte visto anche il nome del ristorante. Probabilmente è da riprovare una serata normale. A distanza di un anno il menù di degustazione "Diverso" si é trasformato da una lieta e sorprendente presentazione ad un banale menù da mensa aziendale. Lo sconsiglio vivamente Antipasto unico tra il menu pesce o carne "Prosciutto crudo e melone" non valutabile per la qualità dei 2 ingredienti Il primo di presce "zuppa di farro con tracce di frutti di mare e crostini" da sufficenza stentata, primo di carne crêpe in rosso con all'inteno una fetta di prosciutto cotto (anche questo di qualità insufficente) parmigiano, non valutabile o se preferite, insignificante; secondo di carne "bocconcini di pollo al curry con cipolla rossa caramellata", con contorno di insipida purea di patate, lo avrei denominato spezzatino di pollo al curry con cipolla rossa vista la pezzatura dei "bocconcini"; secondo di pesce Filetto di un non meglio identificabile Branzino od Orata" in umido con innotivo contornodi insipida purea di patate! Come premesso, immensa delusione anche se si è trattato di menù di degustazione che non avrebbe ricevuto soddisfazione neanche in una mensa aziendale! ☹️ I am sure that the schef has changed, or at least the customer focus policy. Partiamo con una piccola premessa sul perchè questo locale si chiama "diverso": diverso nel senso che non ci si deve aspettare la classica cucina di pesce tipica della trattoria costa adriatica, ma bisogna lasciarsi trasportare in un percorso culinario davvero di alto livello, dove gli ingredienti sono cucinati con le più moderne e particolari tecniche e gli abbinamenti sono studiati per rendere unica questa degustazione. Questo per esaltare al massimo materie prime di qualità senza dover utilizzare aggiunte di sapori che coprirebbero e maschererebbero la freschezza del pesce. Noi per entrare nel vivo del menu, anche perchè la scelta era piuttosto difficile, abbiamo optato per un menu degustazione (2 antipasti, primo, secondo e dolce) per provare i piatti più particolari del ristorante e siamo rimasti piuttosto stupiti sia per la qualità delle pietanze sia per la loro quantità (non vi alzerete da tavola con la fame). Gli accostamenti sono azzeccati, preparazioni di alto livello, sapori e consistenze ben assortite, impiattamenti accattivanti. Ottima scelta di vini del territorio, che si accostano alla perfezione con la cucina. Il tutto in un contesto molto curato, vista suggestiva del mare. Il personale è cortese e molto gentile. Provatelo, con la consapevolezza di provare qualcosa di diverso, ne rimarrete piacevolmente stupiti! SUPERB. Let's start with a small premise on why this place is called "different": different in the sense that you shouldn't expect the classic fish cuisine typical of the Adriatic coast restaurant, but you have to let yourself be transported into a truly high-level culinary journey, where ingredients are cooked with the most modern and particular techniques and the combinations are designed to make this tasting unique. This is to enhance the maximum quality raw materials without having to use additions of flavors that would cover and mask the freshness of the fish. To get to the heart of the menu, also because the choice was rather difficult, we opted for a tasting menu (2 appetizers, first, second and dessert) to try the most particular dishes of the restaurant and we were quite amazed by both the quality of dishes both for their quantity (you will not get up from the table with hunger). The combinations are spot on, high-level preparations, well-assorted flavors and textures, captivating dishes. Excellent choice of local wines, which go perfectly with the cuisine. All in a very nice context, suggestive view of the sea. The staff is courteous and very polite. Try it, with the awareness of trying something different, you will be pleasantly surprised!
