On April 5th I place an order for three items for an amount of Eur 79.19 - One of the items that was worth alone Eur 63.83 was a "Blackout Curtain with Mosquito Net" for the companionway of my boat. The package arrives a few days later. The blackout curtain was there, the mosquito net, which was the one I counted on most, was missing. The other two items: 2 stainless steel rectangular bases were in place. On the site there is a WhatsApp cell. I send a message and explain the problem. We talk on the phone. I am asked to send photos. I run. Days go by. Silence. I open the dispute on PayPal asking for either the sending of the mosquito net or a refund of Eur 30. Other days pass. PayPal contacts the Seller who clever, knowing the quirks of PayPal, asks for the return of the entire order at my expense which will be followed, as soon as the condition of the goods has been verified, its reimbursement. The sideburns are already assembled and it annoys me to take them apart. But above all it annoys me to prepare the shipment of the package, to go to the post office, to anticipate the shipping costs but above all reflecting I think: Who guarantees me that once everything is returned I will be reimbursed? PayPal? The crafty salesman? Neither. Further reflection: if a viewer puts themselves at risk of a slew of negative reviews for Eur 30 refunds, assuming they are unable to send me the missing part of the article, who tells me you can't find any other excuse not to refund me?
