★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will start with good things: location is great, facilities, office staff is very nice and helpful, activities are great but my ultimate favourite thing was ....The Bar...Food at school was amazing, very tasty and well priced.
Unfortunately, I was not happy with the quality of teaching. The method they use just does not work for everyone. If you like structure and to learn basic things at the beginning, then this school is not for you!
I was in A1 group, instead on teaching us basic things like: an alphabet, how to introduce yourself, how to say I, you, she, he, we, they.
We were repeating some conversation without understanding the words ( or seeing the words, just repeating from listening) or repeating phone conversations.
That was extremely pointless at that stage when I just want to know basic things. I would not have a conversation on the phone with anybody when I am just starting to learn Italian. But it would be nice to know how to say: ''Hi, How are you?'', '' I would like to order ....'', and '' Can I have a bill''.
I spoke with few teachers about my concerns but I was just told to have a faith in the method.
I paid for two weeks, lasted week and half. In my second week I just lost all hope that they will teach me properly and I left. Also, some teachers have a bit of attitude. I had a very unpleasant incident with one teacher and that just cemented my decision to leave. If I can't even ask a question what is the point to stay. I feel, I chose the wrong school and that I just wasted 2 weeks and a lot of money.
Probably, I would learn more by myself by just watching videos on Youtube .
P.S. I speak 3 languages so I know how it is in different schools

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've studied at Dilit twice now, for a total of about 4 months. In that time I improved my level from A2 to C1, gained a huge amount of confidence in using the language, made some great friends and had conversations I can't imagine in any other setting.
The staff are so lovely; the teaching is excellent and the lessons are very enjoyable, and the reception staff are so helpful and friendly, not only with school-related issues but also with things that relate to life in Rome more generally.
The cafè in the basement does good coffee and great cakes, and also a wonderful plate of melanzana alla parmigiana.
The weekly activities are also very enjoyable, from guided tours to archeological sites or historic churches, to hands-on cooking seminars and wine tastings, there's always something to do and it's always a good time.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Dilit to anyone who wanted to study italian, particularly in this very special city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attending an intensive course of Italian at DILIT was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I hope to come back again because it was absolutely amazing! All the teachers and school staff are super nice and very helpful. The atmosphere is astonishing. Every day a possibility of an additional program. And apart from that, they are always ready to help you with your stay besides the teaching language itself. Highly recommended. DILIT, tornerò presto ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a conference interpreter I had to learn Italian as one of my working language and in the last years I visited various Italian language schools in Italy. I think DILIT is the best that I encountered. The general atmosphere at the school is great, since it manages to attract students with different backgrounds and life experiences. The organisation of the courses and of the social events is perfect, not to mention the extraordinary talent and professionalism of the teachers I had during my two weeks there. The original Roman altar in the cafeteria was the cherry on a perfect cake for someone like me, who is also an archaeologist...for all these reasons I can only recommend DILIT to anyone who wants to learn Italian :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to this school with only three words: Ciao, pizza, gelato. Now after four months I can easily understand Italian and talk way better than before. I've learned a lot at the school in Rome, but now I continued at home with the online classes. The classes are really nice to follow because every day is different and it still feels you're in Rome, although you're sitting at home. The students are from all over the world and of all ages. The teachers are so warm and gentile! Now they are feeling like family for me. Also in the afternoon, there are online seminars to follow, in Italian of course. For example, you can learn how to cook like a real Italian or learn more about Italian music. All in all, Dilit is definitely a school I would recommend to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh how I miss Dilit & Rome! I loved my time at Dilit learning Italian. Not only were the lessons great, I got to meet so many beautiful people that I'm still connceted too. Such a blessing.
But what makes Dilit very special is the staff. All involved and enthusiastic teachers who have worked for the organization for years. They love what they and Dilit makes sure that they do what they love. This makes Dilit a very lively and professional place to learn Italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Dilit International house! The location is great and the staff and teachers are extremely professional! Assistance is alway there regardless how small and the teachers go above and beyond to ensure the school meets your individual needs. The school’s proactive teaching method and structured learning provided me with a great framework to build my language skills and adjust my expectations when learning a language. I spent six weeks learning Italian in Dilit international house and at first the method may seem daunting but the school provided me with great learning tools to continue to develop improving my Italian! Thank you to my teachers Antonella and Francesca!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An institution that does not give me 360 euro accommodation fee. They promised me and they dont would refund the fee. What they are doing is unethical. I never recommend it to anyone. big corporations don't chase small accounts and they keep their word . Unfortunately, I did not see them in you!
