The food is good/acceptable, and I would give 4*, but there are so many other issues, starting with the owner's attitude: he looks at you with disdain, his attitude is not friendly at all and he behaves like he had invented God himself... what the hell... I pay for the bill, dude!
When we sat at the table nobody cared to bring the menu, we had to ask for it.
Nobody cared to bring us some bread or anything, we had to ask for it.
The young waiters are clearly beginners and not properly trained.
I asked for a cup of wine 4 TIMES and I got it at the 5th attempt!
Our water glasses were terribly smelly and I made them to be replaced.
The first glass of wine that they poured in my glass was full of pieces of cork...
Basically, the service is cheap and the bill is expensive.

β β β β β What a brilliant dinner! We read the reviews on google and just decided to go... impromptu... loved it! Great and friendly service and the food... WOW! Grazie! They gave us a special bottle of Borolo for my husbands birthday which was very considerate.

β β β β β Great food! Great people. Food was so good I didn't want to leave. Seems like every thing on the menu was made fresh and in season. The meat is so fresh that at times you can watch them pull it out of the cooler prior to preparing it. Grab a T-Bone stake if it is on the menu

β β β β β When I enquired my hotel staff for a restaurant that will serve authentic local cuisine, everyone said Osteria Di Poneta Firenze. In fact they helped us book a table and it becomes difficult to get a seat after 7 PM! Wow what a food and choice of wine. It was an experience by itself. Excellent Steaks! Pastas, awesome.

β β β β β It was really a great dinner experience in Florence. The location of the restaurant is so strategic, not so far from the city center offering an easy way for parking. The moment you enter the place, you feel the simple traditional design mixed with a touch of elegance and style.The food was super delicious from the traditional cuisine of Florence. You can simply enjoy the taste of the fresh meat melting in your mouth and feel a real "fiorentina". Furthermore, the staff were professional, smily, welcoming and enthusiastic. We had fun and enjoyed a lovely night. So, we would love to come back to that cosy characteristic place where the ambiance is so warm and nice.

β β β β β Weβve never had more fantastic food in our life. We didnβt know food could taste this good. We were bummed we had to stay outside the city. We went in with low expectations staying outside the hustle and bustle of exciting Florence, this blew us away how could it was from the taste to the whole dining experience. We were in Italy for a Month 3 years ago and we still often talk about this. Which brings me to writing this review we canβt say enough good things. Highly recommend

β β β β β A wonderful, cozy location on the outskirts of the city. The food is representative of the region, perfectly seasoned and presented. The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a tad high, but justifiable considering the quality delivered. I recommend going there in as large of a group as possible and sharing the more expensive meat cuts that way. The wine selection is quite impressive, as well.
