C	Chiara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si stava bene una volta... Poi dopo la pandemia, come molti hanno fatto cioè risparmiare sulla qualità e aumentare i prezzi... Il menu turistico a 22€ sparito...molto apprezzato una volta ma a detta loro invece non amato.. E poi la qualità... Stessi piatti ma con materia non di qualità....lasagna completamente diversa e tutto il resto..... It was good once ... Then after the pandemic, as many have done that is to save on quality and increase prices ... The tourist menu at 22 € disappeared ... much appreciated once but according to them not loved. And then the quality ... Same dishes but with non-quality materials .... completely different lasagna and all the rest .....

Ho mangiato battuta di fassone (nella norma, le salse che l'accompagnavano non erano il massimo), peperoni con bagna cauda (non utilizzano la ricetta originale, la bagna cauda è di gusto morbido e si sente poco l'aglio, ma molti la preferiscono così) e un primo al ragù di coniglio, molto buono. La vera sorpresa però, che fa meritare le 5 stelle, è l'attenzione data alla mia compagna vegana (p.s. chiamate prima per avvertire) che si è vista servire un menu ad hoc, di cui gli antipasti posso confermare fossero superlativi. La prossima volta proverò anche io. La sala del locale è magnifica, in tipico stile locale. La signora e il personale molto presenti durante tutto il pasto. I ate battuta di fassone (in the norm, the sauces that accompanied it were not the best), peppers with bagna cauda (they do not use the original recipe, the bagna cauda has a soft taste and you can taste little garlic, but many they prefer it that way) and a first course with rabbit ragout, very good. The real surprise, however, which deserves the 5 stars, is the attention given to my vegan partner (p.s. call first to warn) who was served an ad hoc menu, of which I can confirm the starters were superlative. I'll try it too next time. The room of the restaurant is magnificent, in typical local style. The lady and staff very present throughout the meal.

Piatti buonissimi e curati. La proprietaria poi è simpaticissima, e tutto lo staff giovane e attento. Grande qualità, propria del Monferrato, anche la selezione di vini. Un'ulteriore nota positiva il fatto che ci hanno preparato le pietanze avanzate in piccole box anti-spreco da portare a casa. Il locale è nella piazza principale, molto bello e luminoso. Fantastic! We were a table that was partly omnivorous, partly vegetarian and I was vegan. In all three categories they turned out to be really up to par! Delicious and well-finished dishes. The owner is very nice, and all the young and attentive staff. Great quality, typical of Monferrato, also the selection of wines. A further positive note is the fact that they prepared the leftover dishes for us in small anti-waste boxes to take home. The restaurant is in the main square, very nice and bright.

Sono passati diversi mesi e la prossima volta è arrivata. Cena fantastica con la possibilità di assaggiare un antico piatto della cucina piemontese "la finanziera" veramente eccellente. Sono stato in diverse occasioni e mi sono sempre trovato bene. Cozy environment, kind, attentive and professional staff. The menu is rich and the dishes prepared and excellent. I have been on several occasions and have always enjoyed it.

The fact that it is in such a special location makes it that much more amazing. You can make a day out of this place with a wine tasting at the bottom of the hill and a hike around the mount.
