מ	מירי פלח on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ על צלע הר תלול עם נוף עוצר נשימה (וקצת פחד בלב מהכבישים הצרים והמפותלים ומהתהום לצידנו) אנחנו נוסעים באיטיות כשהכל ירוק מסביב וכך מגיעים לחווה Des martin שבכפר Valliera. זהו כפר קטן, מספר בתים הבנויים על צלע ההר. כל הבתים בנויים מאבני גרניט וציפחה שנאספו במקום, הנוף עוצר נשימה והכל מסביב שקט וציורי. מהמקומיים שמענו על ההיסטוריה המקומית. ב Valliera גרו מאות שנים כמאה תושבים. האזור גובל עם הגבול הצרפתי שנשלט לאורך ההיסטוריה על ידי צרפת ואיטליה לסירוגין. המקום ננטש במלחמת העולם השנייה. בעלת המקום ידעה לספר כי הפרטיזנים האיטלקיים נלחמו בגרמנים באזור, בסופו של דבר המחסור במים חשמל ומזון הכניען את תושבי הכפר והם ירדו למורדות התחתונים של ההר. בשנת 2007 שישה שותפים קיבלו את המקום ממשלת איטליה, ובהשקעה של שני מיליון יורו שופץ חלקו העליון של הכפר. במקום מספר בקתות מדהימות ובהן קמין עצים, מרפסת לנוף, מטבחון ומיטה בעליית הגג, המקום מעוצב בעיצוב אוטנטי עם נגיעות מודרניות. את המקום פוקדים מטיילים שיוצאים לטיולי הרים באלפים או מי שמחפש חופשה רומנטית במקום שקט ויפה. On a steep mountainside with a breathtaking view (and a little fear in the heart of the narrow and winding roads and the abyss beside us) we drive slowly with everything green around and thus reach the farm Des martin in the village of Valliera. It is a small village, a number of houses built on the mountainside. All the houses are built of granite and slate stones collected on the spot, the view is breathtaking and everything around is quiet and picturesque. From the locals we heard about the local history. In Valliera lived for hundreds of years about a hundred inhabitants. The region borders the French border that has been ruled throughout history by France and Italy alternately. The place was abandoned during World War II. The owner of the place knew to tell that the Italian partisans were fighting the Germans in the area, eventually the shortage of water, electricity and food subdued the villagers and they went down to the lower slopes of the mountain. In 2007 six partners were given the place by the Italian government, and with an investment of two million euros the upper part of the village was renovated. Instead of several amazing cabins with a wood burning fireplace, a view balcony, a kitchenette and an attic bed, the place is decorated in an authentic design with modern touches. The place is frequented by hikers who go on mountain hikes in the Alps or those who are looking for a romantic vacation in a quiet and beautiful place.

Bella accoglienza famigliare non banale. Beautiful location above Castelmagno. Two types of accommodation: separate apartments and dorms / family rooms with half board service. Beautiful non-trivial family welcome.

Lo consiglio a tutti, forse in particolare a chi vuole fare escursioni o alle coppie per totale relax!! A corner of paradise, a village beautifully renovated, friendly and helpful staff, great food. Apartments perfect ... I recommend it to everyone, perhaps especially to those who want to hike or for relaxing couples !!

Il pranzo ci ha lasciati un po' delusi, piatti che sembravano improvvisati e poco ricercati. 27€ a testa vini esclusi forse eccessivo date le quantità. We stayed in this agriturismo in mid-August. Wonderful location reachable by an inaccessible mountain road. Lunch left us a little disappointed, dishes that seemed improvised and poorly researched. € 27 per person excluding wines perhaps excessive given the quantities.

Si possono mangiare piatti tipici nel rifugio Valliera a pochi passi. Numerosi sentieri per gli appassionati di trekking. Accesso un po' problematico per la strada stretta nell'ultimo tratto. Da non dimenticare il caseificio per la produzione del formaggio locale Castelmagno. Very beautifull! When you arrive you feel at home. Great welcome, rooms tastefully refurbished in ancient stone buildings. You can eat typical dishes in the shelter Valliera within walking distance. Numerous trails for hiking enthusiasts. Access a bit 'problematic for the narrow road in the last stretch. Do not forget the dairy for the production of local cheese Castelmagno.

R	Roger Bissell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing mountain alpine feeling with some of the finest cheese in the world and most definitely Italy. Castelmagno which is fantastic in gnocchi and risotto. Everything is recently remodeled and comfortable. A great getaway!
