Attenzione l'ingresso non si vede benissimo. Guardando la stazione dovete andare a destra ed entrare da un accesso carrabile Fantastic cars! Ci sono diverse locomotive anche se non molte. Ci sono molte limitazioni poiché è un deposito e non un museo vero e proprio, come ad esempio non poter montare sopra alle locomotive e ai vagoni. Un posto da visitare assolutamente Open only on the first Sunday of the month excluding the summer period and by reservation only. Free entry. Refurbished by the state railways foundation. There are several locomotives although not many. There are many limitations since it is a depot and not a real museum, such as not being able to mount on top of locomotives and wagons. A must visit place

Dovrebbero valorizzarlo di più e inserire che so delle panchine. Ma davvero vale la pena venirci con i bambini che ameranno questo pezzo di storia dell’Italia. Controllate il calendario per vedere le aperture. I visited this lovely place on a day it was open to the public. Incredible to admire the steam locomotives! They should enhance it more and insert benches I know. But it is really worth going there with children who will love this piece of Italian history. Check the calendar to see the openings.

Oltre a vecchi carri merci e locomotive in disarmo, vi sono delle fantastiche vaporiere perfettamente restaurate e funzionanti, insieme a vagoni passeggeri risalenti alla prima metà del '900, e che ancora oggi vengono tenuti in esercizio per il treno storico che percorre la spettacolare linea Pistoia-Porretta. Nei depositi chiusi vi sono alcune vecchie "littorine" ed altri particolari mezzi da manovra, come le cosiddette "sogliole", oltre ad attrezzature specializzate e tutt'ora adoperate per il restauro dei rotabili. In occasione degli "open day" vengono organizzate visite guidate ed e possibile assistere alla messa in esercizio delle vecchie locomotive a vapore, impeccabilmente restaurate. In definitiva, un'esperienza consigliatissima anche per chi non sia particolarmente appassionato di ferrovie! The Pistoia depot collects numerous testimonies of the glorious history of Italian rolling stock. In addition to old freight wagons and disarmed locomotives, there are fantastic steam generators perfectly restored and functioning, together with passenger wagons dating back to the first half of the 20th century, and which are still kept in operation today for the historic train that runs along the spectacular Pistoia line. - Correct. In the closed depots there are some old "littorine" and other particular means of maneuver, such as the so-called "soles", as well as specialized equipment still used for the restoration of the rolling stock. On the occasion of the "open days" guided tours are organized and it is possible to witness the commissioning of the old steam locomotives, impeccably restored. Ultimately, a highly recommended experience even for those who are not particularly passionate about railways!

In this place are collected a lot of machines from late 19th century to 1970. Sometimes they organize guided tours and they activate old steem Machi es.
