★ ★ ★ ★ ★ laureata in triennale nel 2013. Ottima preparazione dei professori. Struttura storica e molto ben attrezzata per gli studi e le lezioni. All'interno, oltre le aule lezioni si trova la biblioteca (servizio molto buono) del DAMS. Bagni sempre pulitissimi!
graduated in three years in 2013. Excellent preparation of teachers. Historical structure and very well equipped for studies and lessons. Inside, besides the classrooms, there is the DAMS library (very good service). Always spotless bathrooms!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzo Marescotti Brazzetti, è un edificio rinascimentale progettato da Giovanni Beroaldo, ed è oggi sede del DAMS. Al suo interno si trovano aule, studi docenti, biblioteca, musicoteca (di musica d'arte, musica folklorica, musiche extraeuropee, jazz e generi correlati, musica leggera degli anni Sessanta e Settanta) e videoteca utili per gli esami.
L'edificio ha subito un restauro interno da pochi anni in cui sono stati ritoccati e ravvivati i vari affreschi.
Appena entrati si può ammirare lo scalone barocco di Gian Giacomo Monti. Ogni aula, inoltre, gode di un particolare nome dovuto ai suddetti affreschi (di Rolli e Caccioli) presenti sui soffitti: luogo perfetto per un dipartimento come quello di musica e spettacolo.
Per evitare atti di vandalismo, le aule vengono normalmente chiuse a chiave nei momenti in cui non sono utilizzate per le lezioni.
È possibile richiedere delle visite guidate a pagamento per piccoli gruppi contattando l'amministrazione.
Palazzo Marescotti Brazzetti, is a Renaissance building designed by Giovanni Beroaldo, and is now the seat of the DAMS. Inside you will find classrooms, lecturers, library, music library (of art music, folk music, extra-European music, jazz and related genres, light music of the Sixties and Seventies) and video library useful for exams.
The building has undergone an internal restoration for a few years in which the various frescoes have been retouched and revitalized.
As you enter you can admire the baroque staircase by Gian Giacomo Monti. Furthermore, each classroom enjoys a particular name due to the aforementioned frescoes (by Rolli and Caccioli) present on the ceilings: a perfect place for a department such as music and entertainment.
To avoid vandalism, classrooms are normally locked at times when they are not used for lessons.
You can request guided tours for small groups by contacting the administration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzo visitato durante le Giornate FAI di Primavera. Complesso molto ricco di storia, arte e cultura. Da vedere sicuramente, in particolare per quanto riguarda le opere pittoriche. Molto interessante e un autentico pezzo della storia bolognese.
Palace visited during the FAI Spring Days. Complex very rich in history, art and culture. Definitely worth seeing, especially with regard to the paintings. Very interesting and an authentic piece of Bolognese history.
