★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo visitato il museo Casa Zegna in settimana, grazie alla gentilezza di una delle signorine (ci ha aperto fuori dall'orario di visita), e siamo rimasti impressionati dalla personalità del fondatore, un uomo d'altri tempi, che ha saputo fare della sua idea un marchio noto oggi nel mondo. Dietro di sé ha lasciato un buon ricordo di cui la comunità é intrisa, e opere a favore delle persone, della montagna, di alberi e fiori: il dopolavoro, complesso storico dietro alla fabbrica, la colonia montana, la panoramica Zegna e il Bosco del Sorriso. Sebbene la materia prima provenga da esseri viventi, con il premio Vellus Aureum trova attenzione anche il benessere dell'animale, perché, come ci hanno spiegato, solo da animali curati e in buona forma si possono ottenere lane di qualità. Il museo e tutta l'area merita una visita con passeggiata montana, meglio se un soggiorno.
We visited the Casa Zegna museum during the week, thanks to the kindness of one of the young ladies (she opened for us outside visiting hours), and we were impressed by the personality of the founder, a man of yesteryear, who knew how to make his idea a brand known today in the world. Behind him he left a good memory of which the community is imbued, and works in favor of people, of the mountains, of trees and flowers: the dopolavoro, historical complex behind the factory, the mountain colony, the panoramic Zegna and the Bosco del Smile. Although the raw material comes from living beings, with the Vellus Aureum prize the well-being of the animal also finds attention, because, as they explained to us, quality wool can be obtained only from animals that are cared for and in good shape. The museum and the whole area are worth a visit with a mountain walk, preferably a stay.
