The place it’s an average place, and the price good enough.

- Staffs: friendly and speak English very well
- Food: highly recommend the ox tail and meat balls, they opened a whole new world for me about what to eat in Italy besides pasta and pizza. The pasta with pesto sauce is delish as well. Big portion and reasonable prices!!!
You should go there if you want to enjoy good food with good mood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me this was te best place to dine in in Rome. Went there 3 times in less than a week. Since 1936 it has been well known among locals and still is and I can see why - perfect food, great service, relatively cheap. Not some posh, fancy place but with a homey feeling. Always ask for the day's special - I lucked out the other day and had the best baccala.

Food is simple and so good, we had our meal twice during two days trip. 1l wine - 10£, prices are really ok! Ask about desert availability, cheesecake with cherry super tasty.

Family atmosphere, good wine, as starter prosuto crudo with home made mozarella and home made bread (absolutely perfect), as main meals were penne with sauce and meat (delicious), and later tiramisu (again home made, whipped, soft, the best i ever had). Prices normal, not high, service perfect. Recommended!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had dinner here on our first in Rome. We arrived when they opened, so no wait time for us. We ordered the stewed artichoke, carbonara, and the meatballs. Everything we had was delicious. The carbonara was our favorite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the bacon was thick but crispy and the flavors were perfect. We finished our dinner with dessert. I don't know what it was called but it had ricotta and cherry and it was good as well.

The service is fast and the food quality is good compared to more expensive choices in the same city.
The staff is professional, attentive and friendly.
The prices are reasonable and better than elsewhere.
If the place is full just stand in the line for a while, it is totally worth it!
