★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When visiting Rome, please stop by and check this place out! Located a little outside of central Rome (near Ponte Lungo metro), this place rarely gets tourists, but has been a neighborhood favourite since the late 60s. We were fortunate to have this recommended to us by our airbnb host. The outside doesn't look like much, but they have georgous garden seating inside, and the service was incredible. Our waitress tried very hard to explain the menu to us and get us everything we needed. The food was AMAZING! Very authentic, and not a single word of English on the menu (translation app can be helpful here). A+ experience from start to finish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place on accident while living nearby. Ordered pizza from the storefront for two days before realizing there was a full restaurant in the back! The food and pizza are very good, and the waiters are extremely nice and great to talk to if you want to learn about the area. The only inconsistency I noticed was that their fried fish was sometimes overly salted, but everything else was great. If you want truly authentic Italian food and atmosphere and not what they serve at touristy places, this is the place to go.
