Delicious food and quality service

Food : Extremely good, abbundant apetizers composed of typical Sardinian products such as pecorino (sheep cheese) and various Sardinian meats (hams, sausages ecc...), plus a nice rocket salad with bacon all accompanied by the typical Carasau bread. Followed up by a first plate of Sardinian gnocchetti with red sauce. The final piece was a porceddu (cooked pig in all its entirety, head too). The plate is quite abbundant and if needed the restaurant will pack up for you the remains so that nothing goes to waste. The local : its a fully open space coverd area granting a nice and fresh stay even in the hottest months of the year. The staff : The lads serving the food are extremely polite and not invasive in their presence. All in all i'd say a solid 9/10 for me

Well - I never give 5 stars - but this place deserves. Ambiance is 5 star - splendidly appointed - and superior service. The bruschetta was perfecto - the Pasta Misto was very good - the Angello (lamb chops) was so excellent! My family and I visited on Jan 4, 2020 - my 2nd visit - wife’s 7th - and son’s 1st.

My husband and I favorite restaurant ever! Every time we are in the city we try to make a reservation. Food is genuinely delicious, tipical Sardinian food. The location is fabulous and chic and the hosts and the stuff really know how to make you feel well and wanted!

Never judge a book by its cover. A small sign by the road, and a gravel parking lot in front of a nondescript building. I certainly wouldn't have expected much. Boy was I wrong. The dining room is large, beautifully decorated and cozy. Out back is a lovely romantic terrace area where they add more tables and host events in the summertime. And then there's the food. The typical cuisine of Sardinia in the heart of Friuli. It is well prepared, beautifully presented, and mouth-wateringly delicious. But is it authentic? Well, the Sardinian in our group describes it like being back home. From the appetizers to the pastas, the roast suckling pig (perfectly crips skin, rendered fat and moist, moist meat), to the wonderful, unique Sardinian deserts and liqueurs, it was absolutely one of the best meals that I've ever had. And lastly, the service. Despite being very busy on the Sunday afternoon we were there, the service was fast, friendly and efficient. Alessandro takes care of the kitchen, while his wife Margherita (a native Sardinian) takea care of the front of the house. Both were wonderful. My only regret is that my home (Montréal, Canada) is a little far away. Fortunately we have family nearby, so we'll be back. Grazie Alessandro e Margherita, e soprattutto a mio cugino Bachisio per averci portato a condividere con noi la cucina della sua nativa Sardegna.

**Update** A group of friends and I went for a dinner. We ordered the suckling pig with our reservation. Pig comes with two sides, cheese and veggie sticks. The pig fed 8, but everyone was stuffed by the end of the meal. Our table ordered a few appetizers before our main meal and barely had room for dessert! Of course we made a little room for dolce. It’s by far my favorite restaurant near base. *end* An English menu was provided and the prices are affordable! Cute restaurant with plenty of seating for larger groups. There are a few tables that seat around 15-20 people Antipasta was a great way to start off! The walnut salad was full of flavor and a beautiful introduction to the main. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to try the ravioli or the fomarggi, so the server allowed me to have a portion of both choices as my main (half-and-half). Although the server spoke little English she was able to understand the basics. Our party of four totaled less than €100. Each diner had an appetizer, main and shared 2 bottles of wine.
