My husband and I have been taking Italian language lessons from Elena for almost 3 months now and our experience has been wonderful. Elena is intelligent and warm, with a flexible and fun teaching style and a great sense of what we need as language students. She challenges us appropriately, alternately pushing when we need it and giving us a break at exactly the right moments.
Elena is always prepared with a structured class session, but will adapt the lesson as needed. She has the fantastic talent for placing difficult concepts into “real-life” contexts that help us apply our knowledge when we’re out and about in Italy.
Her sense of humor, spontaneity, and excellent grasp on both languages has made learning Italian incredibly enjoyable. We highly recommend Crossroad!

I took lessons with her weekly for a few months to get a good handle on elementary Italian and I was definitely able to learn enough to understand basic conversation and reply, which was my goal. Before starting with Elena, I had taken a group class but realized I learn better in a one-on-one setting so that I can receive immediate feedback. Thanks to Elena, I’m much more confident. From day one, our sessions have been fun, informative, and challenging. Additionally, Elena is incredibly responsive and accommodating. Grazie, Elena!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elena is an amazing teacher to work with!! The classes are friendly, fun, personal and she very accommodating. She's definitely made learning a second language (Italian) much more fun than my previous attempt at learning German. I would suggest her lessons to anybody, she's making it a great experience! I moved to Italy knowing absolutely no Italian, so I'm beginning from the ground up and most importantly I've enjoyed every lesson.

She is very clear for costs, times, expectations, and needs which makes the experience run smoothly. There is parking around the corner from the office.

She has been teaching my daughter as well. She is patient, kind, supportive and makes learning Italian a pleasure. Elena provides tailored lessons for each of her students. My daughter and I have received many compliments on our Italian. I see that as a mark of success in the quality of the lessons.
