Importante il loro servizio 118 con interventi immediati per le urgenze sanitarie. A mio modo di vedere ancora più importante è il servizio sanitario di trasporto di persone che per necessità devono recarsi in strutture sanitarie, non hanno un mezzo o non hanno un mezzo adatto (ambulanza o auto con carrozzina). Salvo alcuni, tutti gli altri sono volontari. Gente che dedica il proprio tempo libero a titolo gratuito spesso ogni giorno ad accompagnare persone malate. Un bel modo di darsi agli altri
Italian Red Cross - Basso Lario Committee of Cernobbio and Masluanico is a beautiful reality in the panorama of non-profit organizations that are dedicated to people's health. Their 118 service is important with immediate interventions for health emergencies. In my view, even more important is the health service for the transport of people who by necessity have to go to health facilities, do not have a vehicle or do not have a suitable vehicle (ambulance or car with wheelchair). With the exception of some, all the others are volunteers. People who dedicate their free time for free, often every day to accompany sick people. A nice way to give yourself to others

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not one of the 4 or 5 staff spoke English and simply told us to go the hospital (and thus waste all day there) considering the amount of tourists (from all countries) in the area lack of basic English skills is unforgivable. We later discovered that a doctor does a 'drop in' session once a day there, but they made no attempt to communicate this either!
