It gets you from A to B and back to A. My trips were ok. Going there the room was great and we slept most of the time, coming back the room really stank of something we couldn't define. The people (we) in the cars are nasty as many switch on the engines long before it's good to go making the whole garage reek of exhaust fumes (please don't be that guy!) otherwise, the restaurant is fine, the rest area is fine and I'd do it again - but it's not something I look forward to - it's the island that I look forward to being at.

The worst ferry company I have ever experienced - 2 bookings led to 2 delays, 1 cancellation and only bad experiences, bad organization, dirty cabins etc. Corsica ferries management and staff should visit and learn from Scandinavian commuter ferry companies....

booked via direct ferries. ferry got cancelled and we were redirected to another ferry from corsica ferries. different times, different harbours. but direct ferries told us it will be the same harbours! very confusing... the staff looked stressed and unfriendly and whole boarding tool too long. departure was far away from planned time... then without getting any information we were standing around in front of the cabins, the vacuum cleaner still in front of our cabin. some staff appeared and let a few people into their cabins. the staff disappeared... after a while another staff came and let another few people into their cabins and wanted to leave but I stopped him and told him to open also our cabins...! the room was disgusting. the window small and so dirty that you couldn't see anything. the whole ferry had no charm. not even the staff. they could have better uniforms like GNV. then they called us out of the cabins. told is we will land soon but in the end we waited all together in the stairways for nearly 1.5h during corona time!! impossible! they could let us 1h longer in the cabins. will never ever go with Corsica ferries again

Corsica Ferries is unable to give a good customer service both online and on-site. They keep changing times and do not respect them. Last trip we waited for 3 hours before the arrival of the ship and no discount has been offered for the inconvenience.

Bad impression @ my first crossing with #Corsicaferries. Ome would expect more competence, but really untrained stuff omg!!!! +1,5h late And the staff was rude and offered only basic communication. Felt like s#it the hole trip. And all the people who can't afford a cabin will sleep on the floor or would block all the restaurant seats. :( really, I would get a plane next time.

We have used CF services 4 times, all from Italy to Corsica, 2 trips by day and 2 night trips. We have mixed emotions about them especially compared to MobyLines. Once the cabin is who gets to it first, next time cabin is marked on yellow ticket which you get before boarding. We had both night trips cancelled. First cancellation was 4 days earlier and we had to go next day but departure was at 23:00 from Savona not from Genova at 20:00. Ferry was late 1.5h and the arrival was still at 6:00 so we went to bed at 1:00 and woke up at 4:30. Cabin and boarding was fine. Second cancellation was 1 week earlier. It was a time change from 20:00 to 23:00 and destination was also changed from Genova to Livorno which was better for our needs. Ferry was late again, we were even notifed via SMS 4h earlier that ferry will be late 1h15min. At the end it was almost 2h late. So bedtime arround 1:30, woke up 4:30. Also we didn't receive 70 euro refund for first cancellation. Next time we plan to use Moby Night option and we will try to avoid CF. No night rest is a disaster after being on the road for the whole day.

So, break it down: 0/2 stars for service. Essentially nothing on the ferry worked (most shops bars, entertainment, some toilets etc, those were all marked out of order). On the boarding side, not even the ticket office was open! (mind you it's close to 200€ for a ticket for two in a car) 0/2 for food & drinks on board. I mean, you can get something if you are hungry / thirsty, but both meals I had were plain terrible, the staff was not friendly. If you order drinks, I'd recommend packaged stuff, not mixed. 1/1 one star because we arrived alive, from place agreed and to place agreed. At times, I did not believe it will happen!

First time cruising made a very good impression traveling night in a cabin. Friendly personnel and good food choices on the deck.
