★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly enjoyed my visit! Stocked up on varieties of LavAzza espressos, real Pesto con Basilico Genovese WITHOUT GARLIC (my prayers were heard! Thank you, God!), various delicious pates, Tipo OO flour for making my own pasta, and the special Trofiette, Trenette Genovesi and Croxetti pasta varieties (these at least didn't weigh anything), and a couple of bottles of Ligurian wine and some olive oil. The best possible souvenirs, a real experience (meant for locals, not touristy). Cashier lady was singing loudly, locals were gossiping, whole place was quite quaint, I thought. The reusable shopping bags (large, laminated woven plastic with prints) were only 85 cents and were also a practical and inexpensive souvenir.
