★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We lived up on the hills overlooking La Spezia for a few nights. So we came here the first day to stock up on groceries for the week.
Water, Soda, Milk, Beer, Wine, Rice, Pasta, Veggies, Salad, Spices, Meat, Fish, Canned Goods....the cart was full. We mostly go to Coop or Conad when in Italy. Especially to stock up on some basic groceries. Prices as usual were fair and so was the quality. We knew what to expect and were happy about it.
The store itself is a bit dark, a bit old I'd say. Could need a makeover. Also there was quite limited parking around the block. Were lucky to get a spot not too far from the entrance.
Still a good option to go shop when in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go shopping. The store is enormous. First time in there you need more than 30 minutes. But that's not all bad they have almost everything. Great place for fresh veggies and cheese. Own big corner of wine.
Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite reasonable grocery store with a strong selection of meat, fruit and vegetables and basic groceries. Store also had a fresh seafood section.
There was even a reasonable gluten free section too which was appreciated!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value for money supermarket in La Spezia, not far from the train station where you can find a good selection of drinks and food. I like specially the fresh pasta & pesto, cheese and wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great big supermarket in the center of La Spezia. Your best bet in the center of the city. A lot of Organic and Eco products. Coop is the best supermarket chain in Liguria, together with Esselunga. Way better than low quality-expensive Carrefours.
