Efficient and friendly staff. The problem lies in the boxes. ALL have to be opened. Waiting times are always too long.

Il personale, tranne qualcuno, non è il massimo dell'accoglienza, spesso di cattivo umore e poco professionali. Quite well stocked but for some time it has become cramped, corridors too narrow, pallets of goods everywhere. The staff, except some, are not the best in welcoming, often in a bad mood and unprofessional.

Non avendo trovato ciò che cercavo ho deciso di andare via e nell'uscire ho preso quella che mi sembrava la strada migliore, prendendo un corridoio a fianco delle casse. Avevo con me una busta contenente il cibo per il mio gatto comprato nel negozio a pochi passi dal supermarket. Sono stata fermata da un signore che non si è accreditato e che ha cominciato a rimproverarmi perché non avevo utilizzato l'uscita corretta. Mi sono scusata perché ero soprappensiero e quindi ci stava che mi fossi sbagliata ma poi questo signore ha cominciato a incalzarmi chiedendomi perché ero entrata e cosa stavo cercando. Gli ho semplicemente risposto che non avevo trovato ciò che cercavo senza aggiungere altro (anche perché il motivo dei miei acquisti - questo non l'ho detto, ma lo penso, sono solo affari miei-). L'uomo ha continuato a dirmi che se uno entra in un supermercato è perché deve comprare qualcosa e che dovevo dire perché ero entrata. Tutto questo ad alta voce davanti alle casse e davanti a tutti i clienti. Ho ribattuto che mi sembrava un interrogatorio, ho tagliato corto e me ne sono andata ringraziando per il trattamento ma non mi sono mai sentita così tanto a disagio. Mi chiedo perché una persona che ha solo sbagliato "strada" debba essere trattata così, apostrofata e messa in imbarazzo davanti a tutti. Era un supermercato del mio quartiere e ci andavo sempre. Non ci entrerò mai più. This afternoon I entered the Coop in Via Lembo in Bari to make a purchase. Not having found what I was looking for, I decided to leave and on leaving I took what seemed to me the best route, taking a corridor next to the cash desks. I had with me a bag containing the food for my cat bought in the shop a few steps from the supermarket. I was stopped by a gentleman who did not register and who began to scold me for not using the correct exit. I apologized because I was lost in thought and therefore there was that I was wrong but then this gentleman began to pursue me asking me why I had entered and what I was looking for. I simply replied that I hadn't found what I was looking for without adding anything else (also because the reason for my purchases - I haven't said this, but I think it is my business -). The man continued to tell me that if someone enters a supermarket it is because he has to buy something and that I had to say why I had entered. All this out loud in front of the cash desks and in front of all customers. I replied that it seemed like an interrogation, I cut it short and left thanking for the treatment but I have never felt so uncomfortable. I wonder why a person who has only taken the wrong "path" should be treated like this, addressed and embarrassed in front of everyone. It was a supermarket in my neighborhood and I always went there. I will never go into it again.
