β β β β β The Coop is a busy, modern supermarket situated on the SS18 Via Nationale, Pizzo. Part of a large chain, it has an excellent range of food, fish, meat and wines and spirits at very competitive prices. It is clean and well lit, air conditioned and the staff are very helpful and friendly. For tourists it is worth noting that the Offerta (offers) are only available on production of a loyalty card. These are easily available at the information desk on production of your passport or you will probably find one in your apartment or villa. The Coop is making an effort to combat Climate Change too by using biodegradable bags and their own Vivi Verde range of products. But like most outlets I would urge them to use less plastic and packaging. It is a pleasant experience to shop there.
