s	simon71 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Annunciata Note storiche Il complesso architettonico fu fatto costruire dal duca Galeazzo Maria Sforza a compimento di un voto alla Vergine e venne affidato all’Ordine dei Frati Minori dell’Osservanza di S. Francesco. Il convento fu iniziato nel 1469 e terminato nel 1472, mentre la consacrazione della chiesa a S. Maria Annunziata avvenne nel 1477. La chiesa si presenta molto semplice all’esterno, mentre all’interno conserva un magnifico ciclo di affreschi con le storie di Maria datato “ottobre 1519” e firmato da Nicola Mangone da Caravaggio, detto il Moietta, artista leonardesco, attivo in Lombardia nel primo Cinquecento, che coniuga la resa delle architetture di Bramante, con i “moti dell’animo” di Leonardo e i dettagli dei paesaggi di Vincenzo Foppa. Il chiostro è stato interamente recuperato nell’aspetto originale e presenta decorazioni di epoche diverse. L’ex refettorio presenta due significativi affreschi anonimi, posti l’uno di fronte all’altro: una vivace Ultima Cena risalente all’inizio del ‘600 e il ciclo tripartito sul tema della Resurrezione, molto pregevole, della fine del ‘400. Salendo al primo piano del complesso in corrispondenza del dormitorio, sono ancora visibili le strutture delle antiche cellette dei frati. Nel 1810 il convento fu soppresso e l’anno dopo fu trasformato in un ospedale per ospitare la sezione maschile della Pia Casa degli Incurabili, fino al 1873. Il complesso conventuale fu infine frazionato e venduto a privati, cambiando più volte destinazione d’uso, sino a diventare un complesso di piccole abitazioni popolari. C	Carla Cesani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un ex convento molto grande,ben ristrutturato e mantenuto.peccato non sia più utilizzato e non sia sempre aperto.l'ho visitato durante una fiera dell'artigianato e mi è piaciuto molto.la cappella molto grande ,ristrutturata grazie ad un evento avis.le volte in legno e quelle con vecchi dipinti stupende.ampi giardini esterni.spero possa essere utilizzato più spesso perché merita proprio.o magari venga trasformato in qualcosa di utile alla comunità. g	gennaro lorusso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convento tenuto bene, ordinato, sicuramente un po' spoglio e si vede che è stato restaurato e questo ha portato a fargli perdere il fascino dell'antico. Inoltre nei giorni feriali non vengono organizzati tour all'interno e comunque bisogna passare dal comune di Abbiategrasso per effettuare visite guidate.
