★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo magico, spazio, tranquillità, personale cordiale. C'è l'essenziale, nulla di più. Bar con bibite fresche, caffè e gelati. Non proprio a misura di bambino in quanto mancano giochi ed un'area attrezzata per loro. I bambini sono i benvenuti purché non facciano confusione negli orari del riposo dalle 14 alle 16. Adatto per coppie o piccoli gruppi di amici.
 Magical place, space, tranquility, friendly staff. There is the essential, nothing more. Bar with fresh drinks, coffee and ice cream. Not really suitable for children as there are no games and an area equipped for them. Children are welcome as long as they do not get confused during the hours of rest from 14 to 16. Suitable for couples or small groups of friends.

I prezzi sono mediamente alti.

During the day the best establishment in the circeo, in the evening a refined cocktail bar. Courteous and competent staff. I will go back whenever I can without a doubt!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto bellissimo ed accogliente, massima disponibilità di tutto il personale, in particolar modo del titolare Fabio; da segnalare l’ampio spazio tra gli ombrelloni e soprattutto l’ottima selezione musicale. Non si può andare al Circeo senza passare per il Controvento.
Beautiful and welcoming place, maximum availability of all the staff, especially the owner Fabio; noteworthy is the large space between the umbrellas and above all the excellent music selection. You cannot go to the Circeo without going through the Controvento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to Italy on vacation and we’re advised to go to San Felice Circeo about an hour drive from Rome where the water is definitely amazing. We decided to stop at this beach resort called “Controvento”. Well,
we were amazed by the place. A private niche with well distanced beach parasols, not overly crowded and extremely well kept. What amazed us most was how clean both the beach area was and the restrooms.
Definitely we recommend that you come here the owner, Mr Fabio, is extremely welcoming and super nice.
