I'll be back. This must be said immediately because from the Countercurrent you would never want to leave, the landscapes that can be admired here are enchanting (then I explain). A place with attention to detail, starting with the environment and the lights chosen to illuminate the outdoor terrace, tested this summer, and which allow you to relax and enjoy a perfect dinner. I hardly give 5 stars but here there is extra attention to make you live the best possible culinary experience, I guess as it was conceived and desired by the owners. I opted for the chef's menu, a choice that I recommend for those who want to taste everything without missing out on almost anything and don't overdo the bill. The experience begins! And it all starts with landscapes because "a landscape is a state of mind" (Amiel) I am not one who gives a lot of weight to the dish but the original choice of presenting the food on lake pebbles or inserted in the Fine sand of the sea, it is wonderful, and accentuates the taste and flavor of the dishes. But here we also travel to other planets where, at least for me, the choice made of the type of dish for the first and second courses (see photo) recalled elements from science fiction films, finding myself on distant planets to taste delicacies that perhaps only there they can taste. And all this without even starting to eat; once dinner began, each dish managed to enhance the experience of taste that is expected from what was imagined only at View. Everything is perfect. From amuse-bouche to dessert, excellent raw materials in the chef's wonderful interpretations, I don't say anything else because it just needs to be tried. I would add that the choice of wines is complete for all palates and you will be spoiled for choice, in which case you can get help from the talented and highly trained staff. Always welcome, ready and never intrusive. The price is obviously higher than the average of the usual restaurants, but on the other hand, traveling this far costs a minimum. But not as expensive as you can imagine and if you choose the Chef Menu you will be satisfied as it happened to me. Let me know how it went. Have a good trip and enjoy your meal.

The restaurant offers a refined menu combining Ligurian tradition with regional and foreign influences. Well thought out tasting menus to make you more than satisfied at the end of the meal. Very competent young staff both in the dining room and in the kitchen and very attentive to every request for food intolerances / allergies. Local with great attention to detail and a wine list full of options. Happy to have found a restaurant on the Ligurian Riviera that wants to bring quality and a breath of fresh air. A must try!

Part of the Controcorrente restaurant, I review the new (just opened a couple of weeks) wine shop a stone's throw from the restaurant itself. Very kind staff and owners, ready to recommend the perfect wine pairing to be enjoyed with the chosen dish or dishes. We took as much from the menu as possible to try which one would be the best. We went in with the idea of ​​having a quick lunch, teasing something with a glass of wine and we almost rolled out. The portions are small but generous. They fill the right and deserve the price spent. Tartare is recommended (truffle is an extra addition) and fried ravioli and leave some space for the typical Ligurian dessert. For now, the cash desk and toilets are on the other side of the road (in the restaurant) but soon due to the renovation and addition of the room, I think it will be placed inside the wine shop. If you pay in cash, the bill is brought directly to the table, if you need a card you have to go to the restaurant. If you pass through Noli you must absolutely stop here, you will not regret it. My side I will definitely be back.
