★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love CONAD, especially when so big. Quality food from all over Italy chosen and organised with taste, prepared if You are a working mum or in a hurry for any reason. Love the concept, visited one also in Corciano, Umbria. Grazie mille e alla prossima!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad choice of produce and easy to find staff to ask where things are, however, they lose stars for poor environmental credentials. You arrive in an electric car and think, great, they have charging stations. But they are not switched on and the staff have no idea when or even if they ever will be. Next, let's say you want to grill with friends, you get to the meat section you want 4 or maybe 8 burgers. You can't get a packet of 8, or 4, or even 2! No you find everything is individually wrapped, and you need to buy 8 separate burgers each on their very own huge, non biodegradable, lasts for a thousand years, polystyrene tray!! So you are forced to skip the bbq or waste huge quantities of non recyclable plastic (yes, I know, shouldn't be eating beef anyway). If you forget your bags and don't want to buy single use biodegradable bags then you can pay one euro for one of their "eco" bags made out of, yes you guessed it, non biodegradable, non recyclable, plastic... No environmentally friendly materials here. This shop is like the one in the 70s classic, ant and bee go shopping...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great supermarket, but however they lose a lot of stars because of the caffe next to it. The staff is very rude, don't mind the opinion of the customers. And if you seat inside you'll have to wait 20 minutes before they bring your order, even though you may have come before the others who are sitting outside. And at the and they don't even say sorry, but just with a smile on they're face they will bring you the check.
