★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Silandro è un bellissimo paese in val Venosta a metà tra merano e il passo Resia ci sono piacevoli passeggiate nel bosco per chi vuole arrampicarsi in alternativa ci si può sedere in uno dei diversi bar del centro e godersi una bibita fresca e la vista delle montagne la Venosta card Rilasciata dall'hotel permette di usufruire gratuitamente dei mezzi di trasporto nella valle e fino a Bolzano così ci si può dimenticare dell'automobile
Silandro is a beautiful village in Val Venosta halfway between Merano and the Resia pass there are pleasant walks in the woods for those who want to climb or you can sit in one of the several bars in the center and enjoy a cold drink and the view of the Venosta card Issued by the hotel, it allows you to make free use of the means of transport in the valley and as far as Bolzano so you can forget about the car

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Achtung beim Parken mit Vans oder Campern - Polizei ist sehr motiviert Strafzettel zu verteilen!
Freunde und ich haben mit unseren VW Bussen zum Biken auf dem offiziellen Parkplatz am Sportzentrum geparkt. Dort stehen zwar Schilder auf denen ein PKW angebildet ist, aber was außer einem PKW ist ein VW Bus denn bitte sonst offiziell???
Auf dem Parkscheinautomat gab es zusätzlich einen Papierzettel auf dem Stand: Parken für Wohnmobile nicht erlaubt.
Nachdem wir vom Biken zurück kamen und jeweils einen Strafzettel über 30€!! am Bus hatten, haben wir versucht die Sachlage mit der zuständigen polizei telefonisch zu klären und zu einer kulanten Einigung zu kommen. Diesem Ansinnen wurde seitens der Polizei leider ablehnend begegnet.
Leider hinterlässt dieser Vorfall einen bitteren Nachgeschmack und fördert nicht gerade das Gefühl als Gast in Schlanders willkommen zu sein.
Attention when parking with vans or campers - police are very motivated to distribute traffic tickets!
Friends and I parked with our VW buses for biking in the official parking lot at the sports center. There are signs on which a car is formed, but what except a car is a VW bus because otherwise please officially ???
On the parking ticket machine there was also a paper slip on the stand: Parking for campers not allowed.
After we came back from biking and each a penalty ticket over 30 €! on the bus, we have tried to clarify the situation with the police responsible by phone and come to a conciliatory agreement. Unfortunately, this request was rejected by the police.
Unfortunately, this incident leaves a bitter aftertaste and does not exactly make you feel welcome as a guest in Schlanders.
