★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge in piazza Roma, a poca distanza da corso II Giugno, strada del passeggio cittadino tra negozi e locali, e fu fatto costruire, nel Seicento, da Francesco Maria II dell'illustre famiglia Della Rovere.
È circondato da un bel porticato sull'arcata sinistra del quale si erge la maestosa Torre dell'orologio.
Oggi l'edificio è sede degli uffici municipali.
L'adiacente fontana del Nettuno riutilizza forse una statua di età romana e fu collocata nella piazza da Oddi, lo stesso architetto che realizzò il palazzo.
In un lato della piazza ci sono vari negozi.
It stands in Piazza Roma, a short distance from Corso II Giugno, the street of the city promenade between shops and clubs, and was built in the seventeenth century by Francesco Maria II of the illustrious Della Rovere family.
It is surrounded by a beautiful portico on the left arch of which stands the majestic clock tower.
Today the building is the seat of the municipal offices.
The adjacent fountain of Neptune perhaps reuses a statue of the Roman age and was placed in the square by Oddi, the same architect who built the palace.
On one side of the square there are various shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La ditta di giardinaggio pagata dal comune fa dei lavori ridicoli !!! Oltre che lasciano sfalci e rifiuti in giro ovunque!!! E non è nemmeno una ditta del posto!! SCANDALOSO
The gardening company paid for by the municipality does some ridiculous work !!! In addition to leaving cuttings and waste around everywhere !!! And it's not even a local company !! SCANDALOUS

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitato metà marzo 2022 in occasione del tour del RinascITALIA per lungo il litorale marchigiano...il camper fiorito che gratuitamente sta viaggiando su tutto il litorale italiano per far fiorire la costa. Senigallia è semplicemente bella, ricca di storia e di cultura, con un centro storico veramente interessante. Resta una bella e grande città sul mare, piena di servizi e soprattutto di sera si trasforma in uno splendido scenario. Il luogo mare è arioso e bello... Città marina comoda anche nella viabilità anche con un camper. Assolutamente da visitare anche fuori stagione estiva. Consigliato ???
Visited mid-March 2022 on the occasion of the RinascITALIA tour along the Marche coast ... the flowered camper that is traveling for free all over the Italian coast to make the coast bloom. Senigallia is simply beautiful, rich in history and culture, with a truly interesting historic center. It remains a beautiful and large city on the sea, full of services and especially in the evening it turns into a splendid setting. The seaside location is airy and beautiful ... a seaside city that is also convenient for traffic even with a camper. Absolutely to visit even out of summer season. Recommended ???
