★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo comune in provincia dell'Aquila a circa 1000 mt di altezza, devastato dal terremoto del 2009 e da altri eventi precedenti. In via di ricostruzione, a poco alla volta si sta riportando alla bellezza di un tempo. Panorama mozzafiato, suggestive le molteplici grotte naturali presenti in tutto il sottosuolo del centro urbano, oltre 70, alcune messe in sicurezza dal comune e sono visitabili. Gli abitanti sono pochi, ma la voglia di ricostruire è tanta!
Small town in the province of L'Aquila at about 1000 meters above sea level, devastated by the 2009 earthquake and other previous events. Being rebuilt, little by little it is returning to the beauty of the past. Breathtaking panorama, suggestive the many natural caves present throughout the subsoil of the urban center, over 70, some made safe by the municipality and can be visited. The inhabitants are few, but the desire to rebuild is great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Potrebbe essere un "cioccolatino" da scartare piano e degustare ancora più lentamente, purtroppo questo riferimento al piacere del palato non può essere traslato nella ricerca delle bellezze architettoniche e storiche di questo borgo abruzzese. E si, purtroppo, dal 2009 dopo il terremoto Aquilano é ridotto male, tutto chiuso, transennato, bloccato e temo che tutta l`Italia dopo la pandemia 2020 sarà "ammanettata" economicamente nel ristrutturare le molteplici meraviglie presenti ovunque sull'intero territorio. Questo borgo meriterebbe uno sviluppo turistico.
It could be a "chocolate" unwrapped floor and taste even more slowly, unfortunately this reference to the pleasure of the palate can not be translated in the research of architectural and historic beauty of this village in Abruzzo. It is, unfortunately, since 2009 after the earthquake of L'Aquila is in bad shape, everything is closed, fenced, locked and I fear that all l`Italia after the pandemic 2020 will be "handcuffed" economically in restructuring the marvels everywhere on the entire territory. This town deserves a tourist development.
