Il territorio è ricco di edifici, ancora utilizzati, di origine medievale edificati con la tipica pietra locale.
Il patrono è San Lorenzo che si festeggia il 10 agosto.
The name of the village, which appears in documents for the first time in the 7th century, most likely derives from the Roman noble name Romanius, which in the 10th-11th century was transformed into Romanise and subsequently into today's Romagnese.
The territory is full of buildings, still used, of medieval origin built with the typical local stone.
The patron saint is San Lorenzo who is celebrated on 10 August.
