The Community Center in Poggio Pecenze was built to replace the old building damaged in the 2009 Italian earthquake. The new building was rebuilt to honor the characteristics of the original building and add to the modern elements to create the most natural social space. The centerpiece is covered in pine wood with a green roof in zig-zag style that evokes the cracks caused by the earthquake in the past.
