Ho fatto la mia gioventù a nicotera, nicotera la tengo nel cuore, manco da 20 anni , ogni tanto l'estate vengo al mare giù da voi, ma io sinceramente non vi ho mai capiti!!! Perché? Volete sapere il perché? Perché avete un posto meraviglioso che altri posti se lo sognano, e tutto funziona lento e male. Avete una spiaggia bellissima, lunga, ventilata, spaziosa , avete tante risorse....ma è come il vecchietto che tiene Ferrari e viaggia in prima marcia o massimo la seconda. Non vi ho mai capiti...! Credetemi. Penso che la gente del posto non ami abbastanza nicotera, così come chi dovrebbe gestirla. E da 20 anni che io come tanti altri siamo andati via, tutti sono cresciuti, perché nicotera no? Vorrei darvi alcuni semplici consigli se mi permettete: 1) le strade vanno rimesse a nuovo, ripulite, e con la segnaletica nuova ( no di 30 anni fa sbiadita) perché chi viene deve capire le indicazioni, non ci passa solo la gente del posto. Sul bivio nicotera /rosarno la segnaletica è nascosta dalle piante selvatiche, e lo stop e coperto dalle canne. Vi sembra una cosa normale????? 2) la spiaggia deve essere sempre pulita, senza eccezione alcuna, da nord a sud. 3) le aiuole il verde va curato...non lasciato in stato di abbandono perenne 4) in spiaggia il comune dovrebbe istallare le docce , pure a 50 centesimi ,non chiediamo nulla gratis 5) LE STRADE LE STRADE LE STRADE...TUTTE LE PERSONE CHE HO INCONTRATO....lamentano tutti lo stato di abbandono che riversano le strade. 6) comprate un attrezzo marino che pulisca l'acqua da plastica buste e roba di superficie, non si può avere un mare splendido e vedere le buste che galleggiano. Per carità non voglio prendermela con nessuno in particolare, ma cercate di migliorare queste piccole cose, cercate di amare ciò che avete e che a volte forse non vi rendete conto. Un saluto. I made my youth nicotera, I keep it nicotera in my heart, I have been missing for 20 years, every now and then summer I come to the sea down to you, but honestly I never understood you !!! Why? Do you want to know why? Because you have a wonderful place that other places dream of it, and everything works slowly and badly. You have a beautiful, long, windy, spacious beach, you have many resources .... but it's like the old man who holds Ferrari and travels in first gear or maximum second gear. I never understood you ...! Believe me. I think the locals don't like nicotera enough, as well as who should manage it. And for 20 years that I, like many others, have left, everyone has grown up, why not nicotera? I would like to give you some simple tips if you allow me: 1) the roads must be refurbished, cleaned up, and with new signs (no faded 30 years ago) because those who come must understand the indications, not only the locals pass by. At the nicotera / rosarno crossroads, the signs are hidden by wild plants, and the stop sign is covered by reeds. Does this seem normal to you ??? ?? 2) the beach must always be clean, without exception, from north to south. 3) the flower beds the greenery must be taken care of ... not left in a state of perpetual abandonment 4) on the beach the municipality should install the showers, even at 50 cents, we don't ask for free 5) THE ROADS THE ROADS THE ROADS ... ALL THE PEOPLE I MEET .... they all complain about the state of abandonment that the streets pour out. 6) buy a marine tool that cleans the water from plastic envelopes and surface stuff, you cannot have a splendid sea and see the envelopes floating. For heaven's sake I don't want to take it out on anyone in particular, but try to improve these little things, try to love what you have and that sometimes you may not realize. A greeting.

F	Franca Faita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo appena rientrati dalle vacanze con gru ppo anziani Auser e CGIL posto bellissimo mare stupendo pineta bellissima ma molto trascurata e tanta plastica e sporco anche nella spiaggia libera e nel villaggio nessuna precauzione x il covid e x finire abbiamo pagato € 3,50 al giorno di tassa soggiorno penso che no ci ritorneremo più We have just returned from holidays with ppo elderly Auser and CGIL cranes beautiful place beautiful sea beautiful pine forest but very neglected and a lot of plastic and dirt even in the free beach and in the village no precaution x the covid ex finish we paid € 3.50 per day in tax living room I think no we will go back there again
M	Marcello Cafaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A differenza di Nicotera Marina dove la macchina comunale sembra non arrivare, pulito e ben organizzato. Il panorama è stupendo. Unlike Nicotera Marina where the municipal car does not seem to arrive, clean and well organized. The view is gorgeous.

Appena arrivati in pullman siamo stati accolti ed accompagnati per la città da un rappresentante del Comune il quale ci ha illustrato la città in ogni suo aspetto tra arte e storia.Bellissima la Madonna del Gagini nella chiesa madre. Stupende le decorazioni ed installazione natalizie ed in particolare desiderio citare la via del vischio ,la strada degli ombrelli dedicata a Rino Gaetano.Peccato che non è stato possibile visitare il castello dei Ruffo e il museo diocesano d'arte sacra. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata .Purtroppo come accade per molti bellissimi paesi/borghi i collegamenti non sono al massimo nel Sud Italia. We went to Nicotera for the Immaculate Conception 2021. As soon as we arrived by bus we were welcomed and accompanied around the city by a representative of the Municipality who illustrated the city in every aspect between art and history. Beautiful Madonna del Gagini in the mother church. Wonderful Christmas decorations and installations and in particular I wish to mention the via del mistchio, the street of umbrellas dedicated to Rino Gaetano. Too bad it was not possible to visit the Ruffo castle and the diocesan museum of sacred art. We spent a beautiful day. Unfortunately, as happens for many beautiful towns / villages, the connections are not at their best in Southern Italy.
