It seems to go back to the Middle Ages only by passing through the streets. Every Friday of the month of August they organize an aperitif in the little gardens of the town.

Montefortino is really a beautiful country, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy in my opinion, it offers absolutely unique and wonderful views, beautiful in all seasons, visiting it in winter is pure magic with glimpses of the snowy mountains.

a	alisei. net on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montefortino è un tranquillo e suggestivo borgo medievale che si sviluppa su un crinale roccioso su più livelli concentrici. Montefortino dispone di un discreto patrimonio storico di cui una parte è dispersa nel suo territorio. Nel borgo sono presenti alcuni interessanti palazzi signorili e chiese di diverse epoche. Purtroppo il terremoto ha reso questi edifici quasi tutti inagibili. Questo non toglie bellezza al borgo che riserva bellissimi scorci tra silenziosi e stretti vicoli, brevi e ripide scalinate e sottopassi tra le case. Ottima la conservazione degli edifici, dei vicoli, delle porte storiche che hanno in comune il rispetto architettonico nelle forme e nei materiali. Il borgo appare pulito e curato anche se, inevitabilmente, è presente un certo abbandono. Passeggiare in questo contesto riporta il visitatore indietro nel tempo. Non da ultimo va segnalata la spettacolare posizione ai piedi dei monti Sibillini che offre splendidi panorami. Montefortino is a quiet and suggestive medieval village that develops on a rocky ridge on several concentric levels. Montefortino has a fair historical heritage of which a part is dispersed in its territory. In the village there are some interesting noble palaces and churches from different eras. Unfortunately, the earthquake made almost all of these buildings unusable. This does not detract from the beauty of the village which reserves beautiful views between silent and narrow alleys, short and steep stairways and underpasses between the houses. Excellent preservation of buildings, alleys, historic doors that have in common the architectural respect in shapes and materials. The village appears clean and well-kept even if, inevitably, there is a certain abandonment. Walking in this context takes the visitor back in time. Last but not least, the spectacular position at the foot of the Sibillini mountains which offers splendid views should be noted.

Vie pulite e molto caratteristiche che conservano aspetti tipici medioevali. Comune pesantemente colpito dal terremoto che si sta rialzato con varie iniziative e molto impegno ed entusiasmo. Da visitare, molto bello. Municipality with fairytale views. A must visit for all those who pass in the area. Clean and very characteristic streets that retain typical medieval aspects. Municipality heavily affected by the earthquake that has risen with various initiatives and a lot of commitment and enthusiasm. To visit, very nice.

Sebbene curato e ben tenuto, in certe ore della giornata appare praticamente deserto. Town made up of ancient stone and brick houses that give it a very suggestive medieval character. Although neat and well maintained, at certain times of the day it appears practically deserted.
C	Claudio Rossetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo borgo tra le mura di un fortino, con belle terrazze panoramiche e case in pietra curate con tante piante fiorite. Peccato per il parroco, disamorato del proprio prossimo e molto scostumato. Le istituzioni sono poco ospitali, non favorendo le nuove residenze. Permettono tutto ciò che è nocivo come le antenne 5G, le distese di pannelli solari, la caccia in tutto il proprio territorio ed altro... Grazie a Dio per qualche bella eccezione come la dottoressa Susanna della farmacia, Antonio e la sua famiglia del ristorante da Peppa, e Leonilde una cortese signora che accoglie durante le sue passeggiate chi è smarrito o spaesato. Speriamo che le cose possano migliorare e si possano dare buoni esempi anziché quelli degli ultimi anni.
