F	Franca Toniutti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do 3 stelline non per la cittadina che è stupenda ma per la non attenzione al turismo itinerante.. da camperisti veniamo qui da parecchi anni e ci fermiamo qui nell'area prevista, da qualche anno noto però tanta incuria doccie e lavandini chiusi e senza rubinetti, nuvole di zanzare vista la vegetazione incolta attorno(stamattina persino un serpentello) c'era un tavolo in legno con panchine annesse mi dicono sia stato buttato di sotto alla staccionata, ma la cosa più triste è che sono state tolte anche le colonnine per la corrente(solo 4 allacci???) qui se va bene ci sostano 20 camper! Nonostante il cartello fuori a volte troviamo in sosta macchine proprio sulla zona scarico inoltre non abbiamo mai visto neanche l'ombra di un controllo. Aumentate qualcosina in più ma aumentate le colonnine e create una zona dignitosa per il turismo itinerante perchè dove arriva il camperista arrivano soldini... Faccio il nostro esempio, abbiamo sostato una settimana, fatto colazioni fuori, 3 pranzi fuori e acquistato i vostri fantastici prodotti, salumi, formaggi, olio, vini. Montefalco merita di più...con la speranza che questa mia segnalazione sia letta da chi di dovere ringrazio. Do 3 stars not for the town which is wonderful but for the lack of attention to itinerant tourism .. as campers we have been coming here for several years and we stop here in the planned area, but for some years I have known a lot of neglect showers and sinks closed and without taps , mosquito clouds seen the overgrown vegetation around (this morning even a snake) there was a wooden table with adjacent benches they tell me it was thrown under the fence, but the saddest thing is that the columns for the electricity (only 4 connections ???) here if all goes well there are 20 campers! Despite the sign outside, sometimes we find cars parked right on the unloading area and we have never even seen the shadow of a control. Increase a little more but increase the columns and create a dignified area for traveling tourism because where the camper arrives, pennies arrive ... Take our example, we stayed a week, had breakfasts out, 3 lunches out and bought your fantastic products , meats, cheeses, oil, wines. Montefalco deserves more ... with the hope that this report of mine will be read by those in charge.
M	Mauro Paiella on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tre sole stelline. Una e mezza per tutti i negozianti e una e mezza per la bellezza del paese. Comune Amico del Turismo Itinerante? Solo il "cartello" all'inizio del paese poi il disastro di cosa il camperista trova. Il totale abbandono. Il nulla del nulla. Posti camper occupati da auto, zona carico e scarico a rischio voragine e occupata da auto solo 4 attacchi di corrente su posti per circa 30/35 camper, bagni puliti ma non usufruibili per doccia. Carissimo assessore al turismo migliorando quest'area sosta il paese guadagnerebbe il quadruplo di quanto noi camperisti lasciamo in spesa tra negozi, bar e ristoranti. Fate pagare anche 10€ ma SISTEMATE TUTTO. Lo faccia non solo per noi ma anche per tutti i negozianti di Montefalco che meritano moltissimo per il loro impegno. Only three stars. One and a half for all the shopkeepers and one and a half for the beauty of the country. Municipality Friend of Itinerant Tourism? Only the "sign" at the beginning of the village then the disaster of what the camper finds. Total abandonment. The nothingness of nothing. Camper spaces occupied by cars, loading and unloading area at risk of chasm and occupied by cars only 4 power connections on spaces for about 30/35 campers, clean bathrooms but not usable for showers. Dearest councilor for tourism, by improving this parking area, the country would earn four times what we campers leave in shopping in shops, bars and restaurants. You also charge 10 € but SET EVERYTHING. Do it not only for us but also for all the Montefalco shopkeepers who deserve a lot for their commitment.

La piazza è costruita nella parte più alta della collina da cui si ammira la val Topina e del Clitunno. Grazie a questa posizione privilegiata Montefalco è stato definito la "ringhiera dell'Umbria". Molto vivace la via principale con tanti locali dove si può gustare il sagrantino. The square of the town is circular in shape here there are beautiful well-preserved buildings of medieval age, the facade of the town is very beautiful. The square is built on the highest part of the hill from which you can admire the Topina valley and the Clitunno valley. Thanks to this privileged position, Montefalco has been called the "banister of Umbria". The main street is very lively with many places where you can taste Sagrantino.

Über relativ steile Gassen kommt man zum Rathaus, welches nach einem Umbau schön gestaltet ist. Montefalco is considered the balcony of Umbria and offers several viewpoints.
