A	Antonio Mucci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pessima area per camper lontana e con salita degna di scalatore allenato, per accedervi i solchi sull'asfalto determinano un calcolo sbagliato (creata per auto, la lunghezza fa si che i camper sfregano il posteriore). Energia indicata all'ingresso si presenta rotta, la macchinetta per pagare è l'unica in tutta la zona senza easypay, ma solo moneta e easy parking. Mal tenuta. Credo che d'inverno con un briciolo di ghiaccio, o non sali o non scendi visto la curva a gomito del 10%.. I 5 euro giornalieri, pur pochi, sono inadeguati. È una località nota per la produzione del vino Brunello. Molto bello il Duomo e le molte chiese presenti nella cittadina e ben tenute le mura e la fortezza della città costruite nel XIII secolo. Comune ben amministrato, pulito e tranquillo. Ottima la cucina locale. Montalcino is an Italian town of about 6,000 inhabitants in the province of Siena in Tuscany and is located in the territory north-west of Monte Amiata, at the end of the Val d'Orcia. It is a place known for the production of Brunello wine. The Cathedral and the many churches in the town are very beautiful and the walls and fortress of the city built in the thirteenth century are well maintained. Well managed, clean and quiet town. Excellent local cuisine.

Piccoli negozi molto carini, botegghe artigiane. Quando siamo andati noi c'era una festa, facevano anche la grigliata, e stata una giornata fantastica. Non vedo l'ora di ritornare. Beautiful medieval village with a wonderful view where you can drink a good glass of Brunello di Montalcino in good company.Da visit the Cathedral of Montalcino and the parish churches. Small, very nice shops, craft boutiques. When we went there was a party, they also did the barbecue, and it was a great day. I can not wait to go back.

La Rocca del castello per salirci si paga un biglietto di 4€ da dove si gode un bellissimo panorama sulla Val D’Orcia. Per chi ama il vino da provare il loro Brunello. Una visita la merita. Nice medieval village with a very nice center between alleys, cathedral and castle. The fortress of the castle to climb it you pay a ticket of € 4 from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Val d'Orcia. For those who love wine, try their Brunello. It deserves a visit.

But I am seriously considering to relocate out from here because of car fines. I try hard to avoid going to Montalcino center, and always shop in Grosseto, which is cheaper because every time I happen to shop in Montalcino, I get a fine (for stuff like no hours of stay shown, even though the policewoman sees me arrive and knows for sure the stay is less than 1 hour). For similar reason don't use caffees in the old town. I understand it's a way to earn money, but it's damaging for tourism and city economy in the end.
