Consiglio di fare un giro per le strette e ripide vie che portano su al auditorium all'aperto , un luogo magico,come magico è il paesaggio che si vede.
 What to say about a village so fantastic, a place where you can combine good food, good drink, with their unmatched wines and breathtaking views.
I recommend taking a tour of the narrow, steep streets that lead up to the outdoor auditorium, a magical place, as magical is the landscape you see.

Il nome deriva dalle mura del castello che ne cingevano la sommità (Mons Fortis) e l'abitato medievale. E' iscritto all'albo de' "I Borghi più belli d'Italia". Ideale per una gita fuori porta sia per la bellezza del borgo e sia per gustare gli ottimi piatti della cucina piemontese e gli ottimi vini. Molto bella la Parrocchia della Madonna della Neve e l'Auditorium all'aperto. Stupenda (anche se molto faticosa) la salita che porta all'Oratorio e all'Auditorium.
Monforte d'Alba is an Italian town in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont, and is part of the 11 municipalities of Barolo production. The name derives from the walls of the castle that surrounded the summit (Mons Fortis) and the medieval town. It is registered in the register of "The most beautiful villages in Italy". Ideal for a trip out of town both for the beauty of the village and for enjoying the excellent Piedmontese cuisine and excellent wines. The Parish of the Madonna della Neve and the outdoor Auditorium are very beautiful. The climb that leads to the Oratory and the Auditorium is wonderful (although very tiring).

Too many crowds, I recommend going there in the spring, otherwise you can go there in mid-August if you prefer to be with lots of people around
