s	simone massari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da viaggiatore a viaggiatore per quella specie di codice non scritto che ci portiamo dentro di noi, che non consideriamo "il viaggio" dalla distanza, né da quanto sia esotica la rotta, che non cerchiamo un insieme di visioni cartolina, in una parola che non siamo turisti grazieaddio, ma abbiamo la pretesa (forse) di cercare l'anima della storia che abita in un posto piuttosto che in un altro, che sta nella pittura della faccia e dei gesti delle persone, nell'architettura degli odori e dei racconti, ecco in questo Labico è un "posto" piuttosto che un altro. La prima attestazione storica certa riguardante Labico risale all'VIII secolo con la denominazione di Fundum Longoienianum, toponimo probabilmente derivato dal cognome di tale Longus. Tale proprietà appartenente inizialmente alla Chiesa Romana e poi nei secoli ai Conti Tuscolani, ai Conti di Segni, agli Sforza Santafiora, ai Barberini ed infine al Pamphili. Nel XVII secolo diede i natali a Francesco de Ficoroni, celebre per la "Cista Ficoronis" conservata nel museo di Villa Giulia in Roma. Nel 1880 il paese prese definitivamente il nome di Labico dalla Via Consolare Labicana di epoca Romana che lo attraversa. Sconvolgente che questo avvenga negli uffici del comune ......non ho parole!
