★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un paese splendido, un piccolo gioiello inaspettato a pochissimi chilometri da Urbino. Da visitare assolutamente la torre e il ponte sullo splendido fiume Metauro, con le cascate che anticamente servivano per le cartiere che poi furono trasformate in manifattura per la lavorazione della lana, ora in restauro. Fermignano ha dato i natali a uno dei più grandi artisti del Rinascimento: Donato Bramante di cui si conserva la casa dove ha trascorso la sua infanzia e giovinezza.
A splendid country, an unexpected little jewel just a few kilometers from Urbino. To absolutely visit the tower and the bridge on the splendid river Metauro, with the waterfalls that anciently served for the paper mills that then they were transformed in manufacture for the workmanship of the wool, now in restoration. Fermignano was the birthplace of one of the greatest Renaissance artists: Donato Bramante, whose house where he spent his childhood and youth is preserved.

The only attractions of the town are the medieval tower and the Roman bridge that crosses the Metauro River, as well as the old complex of the Carotti wool mill overlooking the river.
