Il paese sorge tra boschi di querce, uliveti, vigneti e orchidee selvatiche nell’entroterra pugliese. Lungo le strade, sparse nelle pianure e sulle colline di questa zona battuta costantemente dal vento, si trovano numerose e gigantesche pale eoliche in costante movimento.l centro abitato è ricco di chiese e edifici destinati al culto religioso, ma anche di negozi di artigianato locale e ristoranti tipici dove assaporare i pomodori e l’olio di oliva prodotti sul territorio. In questo periodo di calura luogo di ristoro dello spirito e del corpo. La ricca cucina colpisce perla bontà delle sue paste con la verdura e per le grigliate di carne e di salsicce. Anche Deliceto merita una visita, con il Castello, ristrutturato e valorizzato.
