Ciò consente di godere di aria pulita e salubre che verso sera diventa particolarmente fresca, indicata nei periodi estivi. Purtroppo, come spesso accade, l'abitato ha subito nel tempo la riduzione dei suoi abitanti, soprattutto i giovani, penalizzando tutte quelle attività e servizi che contribuiscono a rendere vivo ed attraente un centro turistico. Oggi il territorio appare piuttosto trascurato e se debbo dire il mio parere di semplice turista un po' malinconico, l'Amministrazione dovrà pertanto lavorare parecchio su infrastrutture ed importanti opere di ristrutturazione. Certo non è sufficiente l'intervento di qualche privato per rendere gradevole il soggiorno degli ospiti nel periodo di alta stagione. Troppe le costruzioni, effettuate negli anni recenti, che hanno sensibilmente abbruttito il borgo, vedi tra l'altro, edifici pubblici incompiuti o realizzati con sistemi ed architetture che nulla hanno a che fare con la storia del paese. Poco il decoro e insufficiente la pulizia nei fitti vicoli del centro storico. La bella piazza che i paesi vicini non hanno e che molto probabilmente invidiano andrebbe rivalutata, abbellita ed adeguatamente illuminata. Se Calvera vuole davvero essere un centro turistico importante in questa splendida zona, allora le varie amministrazioni locali dovranno come si suol dire rimboccarsi le maniche. Today the territory appears rather neglected and if I have to say my opinion as a mere melancholy tourist, the Administration will therefore have to work a lot on infrastructures and important restructuring works. Certainly it is not enough to have some private person to make the guests' stay pleasant during the high season. There are too many buildings, made in recent years, which have sensibly disfigured the village, see, inter alia, unfinished public buildings or buildings with systems and architectures that have nothing to do with the history of the country. Little decor and insufficient cleaning in the thick alleys of the historic center. The beautiful square that the neighboring countries do not have and that most probably envy should be re-evaluated, embellished and adequately illuminated. If Calvera really wants to be an important tourist center in this beautiful area, then the various local administrations will have to roll up their sleeves as they say.
