β β β β β Abbiamo parcheggiato nella parte bassa del paese, poi siamo saliti al borgo medievale attraverso una porta gotica ricavata dalle mura. Le vie sono praticamente deserte, tutte in salita sino ad arrivare all'imponente rocca che si sporge sulla pianura.
We parked in the lower part of the town, then we went up to the medieval village through a Gothic door obtained from the walls. The streets are practically deserted, all uphill until you reach the imposing fortress that juts out over the plain.

β β β β β Acquaviva Picena Γ¨ un borgo con molti elementi storici e culturali interessanti. Il centro storico si presenta in ottime condizioni di conservazione, pulito e con tutti gli edifici pubblici (civili e religiosi) aperti. Il suo monumento piΓΉ importante Γ¨ rappresentato dalla fortezza militare del XIV secolo posta nel punto piΓΉ altro del colle su cui sorge Acquaviva, struttura in ottimo stato anche se povera di contenuti.
Buono il rispetto architettonico in tutto il centro storico che ne fa uno dei migliori della regione. Acquaviva conserva un fascino antico grazie anche agli abitanti e alle associazioni locali sempre attive per conservare e promuove questo patrimonio. La bandiera arancione del TCI Γ¨ sicuramente meritata.
Acquaviva Picena is a village with many interesting historical and cultural elements. The historic center is in excellent condition, clean and with all public buildings (civil and religious) open. Its most important monument is represented by the military fortress of the fourteenth century located at the highest point of the hill on which Acquaviva stands, a structure in excellent condition although poor in content.
Good architectural respect throughout the historic center which makes it one of the best in the region. Acquaviva retains an ancient charm thanks to the inhabitants and local associations always active to preserve and promote this heritage. The orange flag of the TCI is definitely deserved.
