★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci siamo fermati per caso in questo locale mentre passeggiavamo per via dei colli Portuensi, il locale è stato scelto a caso, ma abbiamo avuto una grande fortuna perché questa struttura, che appare come un raffinato panificio, dispone inoltre di un bancone gastronomia di tutto rispetto; settori propri del loro genere come pasticceria e pizza a taglio, ma l'esercizio propone una serie di prodotti marcati dal loro logo, che ovviamente ne garantisce la qualità, come ad esempio aceto balsamico oppure tavolette di cioccolato, tutto in elegante confezione.
Il servizio, al pari della qualità è davvero soddisfacente: entrando, dopo la dovuta attesa per l'emergenza sanitaria in corso, siamo stati accolti da una squadra di ben 8 ragazzi a disposizione della clientela, che garantivano un servizio a dir poco rapidissimo.
Oltre a questo c'è da sottolineare che il locale, arredato con grande gusto, dispone di un settore destinato alla consumazione dei prodotti sul posto; ovviamente non è fruibile in questo periodo, ed è un vero peccato.
Arrivato a casa ho notato che esiste una sede dello stesso negozio anche in via Fabio Massimo, nel quartiere prati; immagino quindi che questa sede della Portuense sia una estensione dell'attività nata nel quartiere prati, notoriamente culla di eccellenti attività gastronomiche.
Veramente una splendida rivelazione.
Merita comunque senz'altro una visita.

 We stopped by chance in this place while we were walking along via dei Colli Portuensi, the place was chosen at random, but we were very lucky because this structure, which looks like a refined bakery, also has a very respectable deli counter. ; specific sectors of their kind such as pastry and pizza by the slice, but the shop offers a series of products marked by their logo, which obviously guarantees their quality, such as balsamic vinegar or chocolate bars, all in elegant packaging.
The service, like the quality, is really satisfactory: upon entering, after due waiting for the ongoing health emergency, we were greeted by a team of 8 guys available to customers, who guaranteed a very fast service to say the least.
In addition to this, it should be emphasized that the place, furnished with great taste, has a sector for the consumption of products on the spot; obviously it is not usable in this period, and it is a real shame.
When I got home I noticed that there is also a branch of the same shop in via Fabio Massimo, in the prati district; I therefore imagine that this Portuense site is an extension of the activity born in the prati district, notoriously the cradle of excellent gastronomic activities.
Truly a splendid revelation.
However, it is definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classico fornaio con ottima qualità e varietà di pane. La pizza bianca è buonissima e la si può riempire con gli ottimi salumi e formaggi del banco gastronomia. C'è anche il bar che serve la colazione con dei clienti veramente speciali!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho preso delle pizze da asporto. Una con tonno piccante su base marinara e l'altra era la gricia. La prima un po' troppo piccante e la seconda un po' troppo grassa. Al di là di ciò gli ingredienti utilizzati come il tonno, il guanciale e il pecorino di ottima qualità. L'impasto buono.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il fornaio storico dei Colli Portuensi, la tappa obbligatoria per chi ama il pane sempre fresco a tavola. Ci si può sbizzarrire tra tantissimi tipi di pane e pizza, ma se non vi va di cucinare c' è anche la tavola calda per un pranzo veloce. Ho cresciuto mia figlia con l' amor polenta e dopo vent anni ancora non ci siamo stufati di questo dolce buonissimo. Il signor Vittorio, il proprietario sempre sorridente e gentilissimo, lo staff all' altezza e professionale!
The historic baker of the Portuensi Hills, the obligatory stop for those who love bread that is always fresh at the table. You can indulge in many types of bread and pizza, but if you don't feel like cooking there is also a diner for a quick lunch. I raised my daughter with the love of polenta and after twenty years we still haven't got tired of this delicious dessert. Mr. Vittorio, the owner always smiling and very kind, the staff at the height and professional!

The pizzas were great, the salads even better. You have to order the food or drink at the appropriate counter and then pay to the cashier at the entrance and get back to get your order.
