Mi ha colpito la collezione di 300 quadri di personaggi siciliani famosi. I bibliotecari hanno fatto lo sforzo di integrare la collezione con 11 donne che hanno lasciato il segno in Sicilia. Bel segno. Bravi!
A hidden jewel of Palermo where culture, history, architecture and a lot of librarians' passion are intertwined. I was struck by the collection of 300 paintings of famous Sicilian people. Librarians made an effort to integrate the collection with 11 women who made their mark in Sicily. Nice sign. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly something special. Wheather you're tourist or actually want to study, feel like a quite moment in Palermo, or just up for a laugh, it's worth a visit. There's about 5 receptionists. One of them has been learning English online for 20 years with not much result. He's great fun though.
In the end, you get a security bag to put your stuff in - it's sealed and monitored at all times. Truly Sicilian library experience.
