★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So hilfsbereite und freundliche Polizeibeamte wünsche ich mir in Deutschland auch mal!! ? Wir stellten auf einmal fest, daß wir beim letzten Tanken ein Gepäckstück vergessen hatten. Das war aber vor 50 km! Also sofort zu den Carabinieri. Eigentlich hatten die geschlossen, aber zufällig fuhr gerade ein Streifenwagen vor. Nach kurzen Sprachschwierigkeiten, wurde ein Beamter, der entgegen seiner eigenen Einschätzung sehr gut Englisch sprach, aktiviert. Also ihm das Problem erklärt, er sofort seine Kollegen in dem Ort, wo wir getankt hatten, angerufen und die gebeten zur Tankstelle zu fahren und das vergessene Gepäckstück sicherzustellen. 2 Stunden später hatten wir es wieder und alle Aufregung war vorbei. Die Polizei, Dein Freund und Helfer! Viva Italia!!!
 I would also like to see such helpful and friendly police officers in Germany! ? We suddenly realized that we had forgotten a piece of luggage the last time we refueled. But that was 50 km ago! So immediately to the Carabinieri. They were actually closed, but a police car happened to be pulling up. After brief language difficulties, an officer who, contrary to his own assessment, spoke very good English was activated. So he explained the problem to him, he immediately called his colleagues in the place where we had refueled and asked them to drive to the gas station and secure the forgotten piece of luggage. 2 hours later we had it again and all the excitement was over. The police, your friend and helper! Viva Italia !!!
