Un viaggio gastronomico e culturale tra i sapori locali. Il proprietario è una persona squisita esattamente come i piatti che ci ha servito, tra una storia e l’altra. Per 20 giorni abbiamo girato in lungo e in largo provando svariati ristoranti e ammirando molti posti, ma niente è mai stato paragonabile alla Colta. Primo e ultimo posto del nostro viaggio, lo sarà nuovamente appena potremmo tornarci. Grazie a Cosimo e Rossana per averci regalato tali momenti. Whether or not you are looking for the most formidable of experiences in Salento, here is the cultured one for you: sublime food, exaggerated place, perfect host, masterful cook. For 20 days we traveled far and wide trying various restaurants and admiring many places, but nothing has ever been comparable to the Colta. First and last place of our trip, it will be again as soon as we can go back. Thanks to Cosimo and Rossana for giving us such moments.

Servizio eccellente, però pochi coperti a disposizione per cui la prenotazione credo sia consigliata. Il proprietario ha quasi una cura maniacale nel selezionare i prodotti biologici serviti, tanto che oserei dire che forse s'informi anche sulla fedina penale del venditore degli stessi. Se ci si ferma a parlare con lui riesci a fare un tour sui prodotti biologici, senza mezzi termini o compromessi. Piatti squisiti e tipici della territorio Salentino, come potete vedere dalle foto. A fine serata comunque se non si è paghi della cena si può sempre accedere alla sua bottega dei sapori salentini (non lo chiamo "store" per essere in linea con la "mission" del proprietario) dove poter acquistare i suoi superselezionati prodotti biologici e locali da portare a casa come "souvenir" della visita. Locale consigliato, cui visitina non dovrebbe mancare nelle vostre tappe del Salento se vorrete saggiarne anche il gusto oltre la vista. IT IS THE PLACE FOR YOU IF ORGANIC AND RURAL IS YOUR MOTTO! Tutte le pientanze servite sono state davvero squisite, abbiamo assaporato i cibi della cucina salentina. Speriamo di poter avere altre occasioni per tornare di nuovo ne vale la pena. One evening we had dinner at Colta, a very intimate environment and thanks to the host the dinner was magnificent. All the dishes served were really delicious, we tasted the foods of Salento cuisine. We hope to have other opportunities to come back again it is worth it.

Light, healthy dinners can be booked and you'll be treated with a unique home farmed meal which varies from fresh eggs, peppers, tomatoes, salad, patatoes, salami, cheeses, homemade pasta.......the list goes on! Ask what is available and what can be prepared, you will not be disappointed. Uniquely Bio - unless you have too much wine..........!!!
